Big selection of vegan cakes! - Edit
Unfortunately they had to close earlier when we where there due to electricity work and so we only could take something to go. The café seems to be nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.

A café as it’s in the books - Edit
The Grain and Grind is a modern café just like you‘d imagine such a place to find in a city. Tidy, small with a nice but to too overwhelming large selection of drinks and cakes to choose from. I had a caramel brownie donut twice and they even have FILTER coffee, so this is the perfect place to start your day or rest for a while before exploring Inverness and its surroundings further.

When we went they had 3 vegan cake options. It cost 30p extra for plant milks. We got a vegan chai (quite milky, so lacked some flavour), a latte (small sizing, tasted good) and a biscoff cheesecake (very good). The atmosphere is nice with chilled soul music and it’s very light and airy. Seems like a good place to do some work and it has good internet

Delicious coffee with nondairy milk options. Also had clearly labeled vegan pastries two days in a row- first day we had biscoff brownies and a fruit tart, second day we had biscoff and chocolate coconut cheesecake slices!

Had a lovely oat milk flat white, great tasting coffee. Also had a Peanut, raspberry ganache cake, was very thick and sickly for my liking. Maybe a smaller price would have been enough.

Fuimos a desayunar el primer día en Inverness y fue un poco decepcionante por nuestra parte porque solo había opciones veganas dulces. Había una salchicha en un bagel, pero llevaba queso normal y no vegano, así que tuvimos que coger los pasteles. No somos demasiado de pasteles y nos parecieron muy muy dulces. No pude terminar el mío de lo grande que era.

Nice brownie - Edit
On a day when I thought everything would be shut they were open and also had a vegan sweet. I think they usually have more vegan options but due to the public holiday, they only had one. It was a biscoff, raspberry and chocolate ganache brownie. I enjoyed it. The service was nice and friendly and I would have gone back to try more items if we were staying longer.

Huge brownies - Edit
I had the Oreo brownie which was huge. It was great value. A little bit more cakey than brownie in texture, but very tasty. They have oat and soya milk. My cappuccino was fantastic.
