Lovely vegan B&B - Edit
I stayed a week in the single room #1, which has a double bed, sink, luggage rack, clothes closet, armchair and low table; your own bathroom is adjacent. I received a warm welcome and came to know Jo and Andy as friendly and generous hosts. Laudable sustainability practices, such as quick-dry towels and refillable shampoo, etc.
Read moreAll food is plant-based. Full breakfast can include fridge oats, Spanish tomato with papadum cracker, toast and homemade marmalade, baked goods, full Scottish breakfast plate with the usual items plus polenta and home-seasoned baked beans. I booked dinner a few evenings: the traditional Scottish meal was excellent (haggis pie, gravy, turnips, cabbage, potatoes) - real comfort food. And the lentil pie dinner was delicious! Ice cream is available for dessert, and there’s a list of scotches to choose from.
Location is great, with easily reachable high street, museum, riverside walks, canal paths, a brewstillery, Eden Court and more.

Perfect vegan stay - Edit
We stayed in the bnb for 4 nights in August whilst house hunting and then stayed for a month in the self catering apartment whilst house hunting and preparing to relocate. Jo and Andy are just the most wonderful, welcoming, patient, warm people. They felt like family to us & even got us a moving in present and some drinks when we loved into their apartment. We loved the breakfasts, although they’re so filling we could only do the whole three courses a few times. We got upgraded to a triple bedroom during our bnb stay which was a nice unexpected surprise. It was cosy and nicely furnished and we love the focus on sustainability, from their refillable vegan toiletries, and their light weight towels.
Read moreWould definite recommend you stay here although note that they close over winter. You need to contact them directly to find out about availability and to book.
They have a lot of omnis stay due to the demand for accommodation here, and although they’re super patient, kind and like uncover vegan activists that are slowly converting the masses through showcasing vegan food; it would be great if they could get fully booked up with vegans.

LOVELY STAY - Edit
You won't find a nicer couple running a B & B in Inverness. Jo & Andy, are warm, accommodating, generous and helpful, even getting a lift to the bus station. Their eco consciousness with toiletries and personal touch with homemade shortbread didn't go amiss, nor did their date and ginger cake with the excellent breakfast. Also, knowledgeable with local history. We'll be back again, for sure.

Wonderful stay - Edit
We had a wonderful 4 nights at Blaeberry House. Andy and Joanna have created a lovely vegan retreat in a beautiful house and were so accommodating to us during our stay. We felt like royalty being treated to the multiple-course breakfast which was so fulfilling and really set us up each morning! The room was very comfortable and we loved the plastic-free toiletries. The location is perfect too - we took a coach tour from Inverness on one day and on another took a beautiful walk along the canal all the way to Loch Ness. We look forward to coming back and staying again!

Darling & delicious - Edit
Jo and Andy have curated the loveliest little B&B experience and it absolutely made our entire trip to Scotland. They are so warm and welcoming, and gave us excellent local recommendations on both dining and activities. They were accessible and prompt to respond prior to and throughout our visit. And the food — well they absolutely spoil you with vegan goodness. From the darling shortbread cookies waiting for us in our charming room to the picture perfect traditional Scottish breakfast all made from scratch and served up just so, there’s not a better vegan meal out there. I love their commitment to sustainability as well, which shines through in little touches like the vegan bath products and their intentionality in reducing use of plastic as much as possible. The location is so accessible (5 min walk) to city center but conveniently tucked around the corner so it’s quiet and feels like a retreat. I really can’t say enough good things about this gracious and welcoming couple or the beautiful home they’ve made in Blaeberry House that they share with travelers. An absolute gem. We can’t wait to visit again, and we will come hungry!

Absolutely WONDERFUL 11/10 - Edit
I am truly abundant with gratitude for the phenomenal time I spent at Blaeberry B&B. Every moment I shared with Joanna and Andy was an absolute delight! The warm welcome I received made me feel so at home and the attention to care they put into every aspect of the b&b experience is truly unmatched. From the most delicious vegan blueberry shortbread cookies waiting for me upon arrival, to the 3 course mouthwatering breakfast provided, not a stone was left unturned in providing me the best experience I could wish for. Joanna and Andy were very helpful with suggestions of things to do and where to eat ( even though nothing could top Andy’s cooking in my opinion). They were very generous in showing me some of Scotlands breathtaking scenery and sacred spaces. As well as, providing transportation to the train station. I genuinely cannot recommend a more welcoming, comfortable, and nourishing experience in Inverness.

Great breakfast and excellent location - Edit
Highly recommend this comfortable and well-located vegan B&B - it’s a short and scenic walk to the main Inverness commercial area (5 minutes tops), but far enough to be quiet in the evening. The breakfast is excellent, though come hungry because it’s a very generous helping. I’ve stayed twice now and had an excellent experience both times.
