Nice! - Edit
Not entirely labelled as vegan but pretty clear what is likely an option - eg stew with mushrooms and veggies plus rice. We loved it! The chips were fine, and the veggies/bread plate was great although wish there was more houmous.

Decent vegetarian food 🙂 - Edit
There's many options on the menu, and the staff, although busy are helpful.
Read moreI ordered the Vegetable Guvuc. It was served promptly, and the dish was tasty and nourishing.
It's a relief to find good food after having so many oily and bread-y meals in Turkiye.
Pros: Good food, Prompt service, Several veg options

Ordinary - Edit
Few options, not bad but not very tasty, can help in a town with almost no vegan options. Beautifull terrasse and nice staff. Expensive.

it is expensive, the dishes are not large and ordinary in taste. - Edit
About $10 per person. The food, service, portions were not impressed, it is better to choose another place. But in general, nothing bad.

Not good - Edit
Honestly not sure how it has so many good reviews. To be fair I only tried the lentil burger but it was inedible. Taste and texture were both bad.

Touristy. Delicious - Edit
A few vegan-izable options. Vegetarian clay pottery - sub fries for the mashed potatoes- was very nice.

Decent food and good service - Edit
I had the lentils burger. It was tasty, even if falling apart a bit. The veggies kebab was also nice and coming in the authentic clay pot that they "break" in front of you.

Absolutle loved it - Edit
The paople were really nice and told us the vegan options.
Read moreWe had the Mantar Sac Tava and the Guveç Vegetarian (we removed the mashed potatoes to make it vegan vegan) and they were delicious and quite cheap for the prices in this area.
Sadly the Baklavas were not vegan (they're made with honey), so they don't have any vegan dessert apsrt from the fruit (which is quite expensive).
I really recommend it if you are in the area, so far the best place we have been in Görene, and we will come back some other day for sure.

I had the lentil meat burger and it was very good. Mayo comes separately. And the service was very polite. Fair price too.

Decent but basic - Edit
If you’re looking for a departure from Turkish faire this place has some good options like a vegan burger and fajitas, it can be a little dry as there are no real vegan sauces except ketchup but staff are nice and it’s a fine option if you’re not looking for anything fancy. Alcohol is def watered down. Would give them 3.5 if I could. Not great but better than fair!

Good option - Edit
They had a few options on the menu and the portions were really good. Prices are average for the area. Staff weren't the happiest but there was a table of Americans giving the staff a hard time. They wrapped up my left overs for takeaway which I appreciated because it was too much food for me as a solo traveller

The food was nice but nothing special. But we had to wait really long to order food and the staff wasn‘t that organized.

Average - bland food - Edit
I had the pottery kebab out of the sheer desire to try something rooted in traditionally Turkish culture. It was a great experience watching them break open the pot but the veg inside was incredibly bland. Perhaps it needed more time to stew in the pot to develop a deeper flavour profile. It wasn't all that cheap either.

Try the clay pot kebab - Edit
We ate here because I definitely wanted to taste the famous local food: the clay pot, pottery or testi kebab. I was so happy that I could try it even though I am vegan. It is made in a clay pot which is cracked open with a hammer by the waiter in front of you.
Read moreThey have a few vegan options. I loved the clay pot kebab, because it had beans in it, not only vegetables, like the vegetarian plate. The lentil soup was very good as well. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also nice. I didn’t find it pricey compared to other Cappadocian or Turkish restaurants, we payed 370TL for two soups, two main courses and a big bottle of water.

Hit the spot - Edit
This place was packed and for a very good reason! They offer meat/veg and vegan meals and are happy to talk through the menu with you on what's vegan.
Read moreI went back twice because it was so delicious and would recommend this place to travellers. It felt authentic and was very filling.
It's definitely a little pricey for Turkey, but that's what you get when you're in a very touristy area.
Pros: Large portions , Friendly service
Cons: Pricey

Nice staff, fairly poor food - Edit
75tl for an unseasoned lentil burger. Pretty much what you’d expect in a tourist trap. The bread was really nice though, and the waiter was really friendly.

Food is passable, the hours are good, the staff are very friendly. - Edit
Fat Boys seems to always be open, which is a bonus in the off-season in a tourist town, and while the food is a little ordinary the staff are very friendly and always seem to be having a good time.
Read moreThe owner used to live in Melbourne, Australia, so has some experience dealing with fussy vegan hipsters and has informed his staff accordingly. Not a huge range of vegan options available and some a little weird (french fries in your vege clay pot?) they're certainly fine. Prices reasonable.
Pros: Decent vegan options., Cheerful and friendly staff.
Cons: Food can be ordinary.

Good food knowledgeable staff - Edit
We read a few reviews saying this place had some vegan options so we stopped by. There wasn't a ton, but we got some vegan spring rolls, a clay pot veggie dish that was really flavorful (this came with rice and fries) and the lentil burger for me and my boyfriend to share. It was surprisingly alot of food and we had to take the lentil burger home with us. Everything was good and reasonably priced, and the staff was really friendly and knowledgeable.

Lentil burger is okay for the money - Edit
At 25TL, the lentil burger with fries manages to be one of the cheapest vegan options in town. It doesn’t have much in the way of taste or texture, so you’re probably gonna want to throw some ketchup on there, but the portion size is decent. I’ve had it a couple times since it’s not easy to find any sort of vegan protein in town.
Read moreSkip the şakşuka. I ordered some for takeaway last time I was there and the portion size was tiny, flavor was lacking, and they didn’t bother including the bread that the menu says is included.

Not very good food but decent for getting some grub whilst having a drink - Edit
Fat Boys is a good place to go for a drink. The food isn’t amazing but it’s a good place to grab a bite while you’re having a drink. Not all Turkish, they have some burgers and things. Decent amount of vegetarian options and small amount of vegan. Does the job if you’re hungry! Good atmosphere outside stood by their big fire! Especially on New Year’s Eve!
