Amazing Lentil Burger

I ordered the lentil burger that had beets, oats and carrots on a sour dough bun. It hid the spot.

Pros: Chill atmosphere , Good service, Decent portion sizes for price

Delicious and healthy!

This was a cute wee spot! The side salad (yes I know rogue) was so so yum! The dressing was delicious and the veges were very fresh! Highly recommend, the burger also slayed 👸🏼

Cosy little spot

Nice cosy spot. Friendly and helpful waiters/waitresses. Speak English too
so it can be easier for some. Had tacos on both visits. Good portions and a very good salad too. The only minor thing for me was that the sesame flavour in the halva latte was fainter than expected, double the flavour I feel would make it perfect

Yummy and cozy place!

We had a Burger and a Sandwich, and a brownie, which was all delicious! Their sesame milk is also yummy. Cozy little place! All food made by a local ranch.

Super nice place

Went there for lunch and had a golden milk and sandwich. Both of which were super delicious and filling. A really nice little place I can recommend to go!

Healthy and wholesome

Everything tasted delicious except one of the dishes was over salted. The ingredients all felt really good quality, healthy and imaginative food. Downside is that they use a lot of honey - it’s in almost all of their desserts, which is a shame.

Cons: Honey in majority of desserts

Amazing food

The food was delicious, healthy and filling and if what they're claiming is true then this is a big WOW. They say they produce most of the food themselves in the area. Awesome! Absolutely tasty, I can only recommend it.

Wonderful cafe

Friendly cafe with good Wi-Fi. We went for breakfast. As we like soy milk in our coffee, we were skeptical of the 'sesame milk ' here. So, we got Macchiatos instead which were excellent.

We both wanted to order the pancakes, but opted for one pancake order and one fruit bowl. (Each 96 pesos). The pancakes were DELICIOUS, and the fruit bowl (which came with granola) was also very good. The fruit bowl was served with a yummy sweet sesame sauce. The pancakes also came with fruit.

Thanks to the earlier review, we were aware that honey was included in most dishes. We were OK with that, but some will not be.

Due to the good Wi-Fi, it seemed that a lot of people just came in to hang out (without purchasing or just buying one item for 5 people) which is annoying. Especially since the cafe is quite small with limited seating.

Great location across from San Bernardino Convent.

UPDATE: We came back for breakfast the next day. We again got the pancakes and this time the oatmeal bowl. The oatmeal was a GIANT portion, but I missed the tasty sweet tahini sauce served with the fruit bowl. If you are hungry, definitely get the oatmeal bowl, though.

Pros: Yummy food , Friendly barista who speaks English , Lovely decorations

Hard to beat this place

Incredible atmosphere, service and the food is delectable. I have the unfortunate challenge of needing to be gluten free. They had options and they were damn good.

The pay Lima, brownie and the sesame ice cream are gluten free. And all worth it! We have to take advantage of amazing gluten free desserts when available. Here’s your chance.

Pros: The tacos: veggie or tajas, Pay Lima, Vegan ice cream

Cons: I’d eat it everyday

Good food

Food is good looking and tastes good as well.

Several dishes contain honey and most are well marked on the menu.

Seating is not the most comfortable.

Absolutely incredible.

Everything about this place is 11 out of 10 stars. The service, the vibe, the food, the location. Beautiful attractions surrounding, but the food. This was everybody’s favourite meal on our entire trip. We will be going back on our way to Cancun from Mérida.

Not a ‘vegan cafe’

Deceptively calling themselves a “Vegan Cafe” and having a blackboard with “100% Vegan” within the cafe itself, this cafe barely has any truly vegan options, due to honey being added to many items. It’s also not a misunderstanding issue because the menu clearly labels allergens as numbers on the menu including honey written as “honey (not vegan).” Problem is, some of these menu items are not properly labeled (see the salad). I had to find out from another happy cow review that the sweet tahini sauce used in a variety of menu items has honey mixed into it- it was not labeled anywhere on the menu, but confirmed by an employee. Would completely avoid if vegan. It’s not worth the stress of accidentally choosing something - the vegan options are sparse and the advertising is deceptive.

Pros: Good coffee

Cons: Mislabeled menu, Not vegan, Deceptive advertising

Tasty and fresh food

This place is super cute, and the waiter was very engaged and knowledgeable, he immediately recommended stuff. The food was cooked in the small kitchen right at the back of the counter, and it was all super fresh, tasty and with a very homemade feel to it. The horchata was very nice, and so was the food. It's a small menu, but it was still difficult to choose.

Pros: Tasty food, Attentive staff, Freshly made spicy sauces

Cons: There's not much space, a bit uncomfortable to sit

Simply the best

I had the pancakes, fruit bowl and coffee with sesame seed milk and LOVED every minute of it. I went back the next day but was bummed to find they’re closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! (But glad their staff gets a rest!) Everyone was so kind and welcoming - don’t miss this spot if you’re in Valladolid! #Veganuary

Very good, especially for desserts

Both the food and the service were very good, especially the desserts ! The restaurant is vegan except that they use honey which they produce ecologically on their own ranch where they also grow many other ingredients of their food. The desserts were especially tasty and mostly gluten free😄

Pros: Everything was vegan, Good service , Good food

Good and can be better

..had a glass of kombucha as well as their signature plate consisted of three tacos and salad; easy to consume and digest, not a flavour I’ll never forget, though. Did not like they do not accept credit cards despite the opposite mentioned online; I sensed a couple sitting next to me felt likewise; waiter/owner is discrict and gentle

Pros: Honest approach, Quiet location

Cons: Overpriced

Good but what-the-honey

Dinner here is delicious - fresh, locally sourced, organic, hand made tortillas… just excellent. As are the hot drinks. But… breakfast is sad. You want toast with some of their famed tahini? Nope you can’t because the tahini sauce for toast is already mixed with honey. So you can get plain toast or toast with hibiscus jam only. And frankly, nah.

This restaurant is amazing! You have to come here!

This restaurant is a must! If you are in Valladolid you have to come here. They have everything organic and they grow and harvest their own fruits and vegetables. The place is very calm. We came here two times and order almost everything, because we were so impressed. The whole concept and owner’s story is something you have to experience! #Veganuary

Cons: NOTHING!
