Two kitchens, one is vegan, one pork

The owners are friendly and can speak / understand some English. One of them cooks the vegan food on the vegan kitchen side, and the other takes the money and cooks the pork on the other side. So there’s no contamination as far as i can see.

Pros: Good seasoning, Good value

Cons: No longer a vegan market stall

Really delicious wonton

Probably the only one vegan option of Dongdaemun nightmare. Wonton itself is delicious and the owner is really friendly and helpful.

Pros: English menu

Good vegan wontons

Good stall in the night market selling basic vegan wonton dishes. You can eat behind the stall on one of their tables, or have take-out. It's tasty but quite a small serving size. So don't expect a whole meal.

Pros: tasty, convenient

Cons: small serving size

Late night veggie food

This stall tucked away in a corner of Dongdamen Night market was a welcome sight, considering my partner and I had trouble finding veggie food at night throughout Taiwan. We (unfortunately) weren't very hungry so we just had an order of wontons, which were delish. Wish we could have tried some of the other options. The owners were friendly and welcoming and prices were reasonable, especially compared to some of the other stalls at the market. There is also a seating area in the back.
