Sensational Food, Wonderful Owners! - Edit
I have eaten at Domů a few times from before becoming a vegan and a happy cow user, and they honestly never miss. I'm glad to be finally logging this amazing establishment after popping in for lunch today.
Read moreI arrived around midday, and the popular cafe was almost full. The lovely owners were welcoming and helpful, and I quickly put in my order for Genmaicha Chai Green Tea and Borscht with a Ukraine Cabbage Pie. I did not wait long for my order, and the tea comes with a handy timer to measure the strength of the tea. The food was beautifully presented, and bread and butter was offered free of charge to accompany the stew. I didn't want any, so I'm not sure if they have vegan bread and butter. The Borscht, as a lot of reviews have already alluded to, was AMAZING, and the pie was also gorgeous. The food was so full of flavour that I just know I'll be thinking about this lunch for days to come!
Domů is a must visit for vegans in and around Bangor. Follow their socials for updates on their ever changing menu and cakes selection.

Don't hesitate - Edit
Lovely find, have oat milk and when we visited had 3 vegan cake options - flapjack thing, apple pie and I can't remember the 3 which we didn't have.
Read moreFriendly staff and very nice coffee - the owner roasts the beans I understand. Great atmosphere will try the soup next time.
Please consider including more vegan cakes and perhaps rather than labeling them as vegan say what they are and add 'also suitable for Vegans' so like 'carrot cake (suitable for vegans). Strangely I think if it is marked as vegan non vegans think they can't eat it!!

Lovely atmosphere, great food - interesting, home cooked and full of flavour. A refreshing change from all the junk food veggie/vegan options that now seem to be everywhere. Wonderful cakes and good drink selection too.

Good - Edit
As the indicator on happy cow suggests this is mainly coffee and cake. We decided to come for breakfast anyway. I got the aloo saag pastie and my partner had some wholemeal bread with jam (there wasn’t any vegan butter). I enjoyed my oat flat white. The pastie was nice too. Not really a breakfast place but that is indicated here.

Owner - Edit
Hi Happy Cowers, this is not a review, I am the owner so it might be biased. Just wanted to manage expectations, we are a coffee shop that serves pure vegetarian and vegan food. we are not a restaurant. We have a simple menu, but you will get a warm welcome, time to chill, superfast broadband, and a place to call domu (home)
