Extremely rude & hostile owner

Absolutely appauled by the lady at the till who might have been the owner. Before I could explain why I'm there as HappyCow Ambassador she goes straight to say they are not a vegan business and don't intend to be one as she is vegetarian. I was trying to find out the Vegan options when she just went on and on about it being vegetarian. Finally the only vegan options is just toast and jam and flapjack and a chocolate polento cake offered for breakfast and lunch as 2 meal options that changes daily.
Even after purchasing a vegan chocolate she was so rude telling me why do people come and ask her to do stuff that it's her business and she would do whatever she wants. Wow! Appalling!

When I asked to consider having more vegan options as everyone can eat it she went on about why I am trying to convince her to be vegan when all I was asking for was options. Then she says why don't I be vegetarian. Seriously has a big lack of social skills and an attitude towards vegans.

Not worth me giving her a HappyCow Sticker that she had vegan options. I have had better service from other areas. Wouldn't sit here feeling comfortable it's not a welcoming place at all. Attitude is so important.

First of all, we do not offer breakfast, we are a coffee house, it's pointless complaining about this.
We offer 3 or 4 hot dishes, three of which are vegan, which isnt bad going for a vegetarian place.
Svet isnt hostile, but does not like to be told what we should sell. We are not vegan, and do not claim to be. I think you will see from other reviews most people feel welcome here, it really all depends on the attitude of the customer.
Why are you stating dairy and eggs in the cons? As I keep pointing out, we are vegetarian.
Marching in and stating you are a "Happy Cow" ambassador meant nothing to her, and why should it?
It's not "appalling" to disagree when people try to impose their views on you, nor is it hostile to offer a counter argument. It's really quite rude to be told to offer more vegan options, I totally agree with my wife, it's our business, and we offer what we decide. You took offense at being told straight, you had no problem telling us what we should do, but seemed to have a problem with an honest response.
