Lovely place, incredible food. - Edit
I had their bibimbap and chicken rice bowl. Absolutely delicious. Their tvp is something special and its all flavourful. The atmosphere is very homey and the lady running the front of house is very down to earth, to the point and wonderful. Their yuzu daiquari is one drink I still think about too. Their kimchi is very salty though so might want to share.

Delicious - Edit
Delicious korean food. The owner is a one woman army who puts great effort into everything. Be informed it is more a takeout place without a restroom. As a drink I would recommend the Vaya kombucha.

Highly Recommend! - Edit
We stumbled upon this place just after midnight, saw the sign 'We are VEGAN shop. No Meat, No Fish.' and vowed to give it a try the next evening.
Read moreWe arrived around 8:30pm to a pretty quiet restaurant. It smelled delicious! There was a couple eating at a small table by the window and a group of 4 waiting in line to order. The owner was working alone so would take the orders and go to the kitchen, then take a few more orders and back to the kitchen. We placed our order and sat down at the high table by the counter. Cute Vibes!
We were eating delicious Korean/Japanese food by 9pm. Very quick for having to prepare 4 orders before preparing our 2 orders. The food came out hot and fresh. We ordered the Spicy Kimchi Ramen and the Beefy Bulgogi on rice. Both were amazing! Nice and Spicy and great portions for the price. Highly Recommend!

This was soo nice! - Edit
The space was very nice to sit down and eat our dinner. It took a little while before we got our food, but it came out steaming hot. Very fresh made and the taste was delicious. I had the cheesy dakkalbi and my friend had the tempeh japchae. The servings were quite big! It's been a week since I've eaten here and I've had dreams about the dakkalbi fr. Want to eat here again for sure!

We ate at De Patchka once while visiting Amsterdam and were amazed by the food there. To the point that we still often think about it almost a year later (gotta go to the Netherlands again soon!).
Read moreEdit: I went there again recently (June 2024) and the food was as good as I remembered: tasty, with an almost home-cooked touch to it. Still a clear recommendation from me!

Banger Restaurant - Edit
Fast food Restaurant specialized in take away. As such they don’t have a bathroom. Bad that’s all there as far as downsides go. The prices are reasonable or down right cheap in comparison, the goodies amazing.

Good for take away - Edit
They do have some seating, but it's mostly a takeaway restaurant, meaning no restrooms, plates or other service. If you can cope with that, you can look forward to good food.
Read moreService was a bit brusque.
The surrounding area is lively, with a market on the doorstep on many days.

Delicious all vegan affordable - Edit
All vegan, mainly Korean, dishes 😍 Would highly recommend! Located in the Albert Cuyp market street.
Read morePrices are affordable compared to other restaurants in Amsterdam. The regular dishes are €12/13, the specials around €15. I got Jjapagetti which was delicious and a big bowl with many ‘beef’ pieces I had to give some to my partner.
It’s originally a take away restaurant but there’s some nice atmospheric seating. Definitely reserve in advance through their website (easy!). The lady is the owner and all by herself taking orders and preparing the food.
Be aware there’s no toilet and they don’t serve tap water.
I will return since I want to try the other dishes as well 🌱
Pros: All vegan, Big portions , Affordable
Cons: No toilets, No tap water, Reserve ahead to ensure a spot

Amazing vegan Korean-Japanese food - Edit
I loved the Jjajangmyeon, called "Jjapagetti" on the menu, paired with soy beef. The portions were generous, and the matcha tapioca dessert was a treat. Also, the "beefy furoshiki" is a must-try snack at just €3.5.
