Delicious vegan food with a Scandinavian flair in a modern setting - Edit
Based in Catford Mews which has a coffee bar, some other food options, alcohol bar and cinema. Very basic and simple dining experience but doesn’t take away from the high quality and delicious food being served. I had the brunch option and grilled Camembert and mushroom sandwich with truffle oil. Very tasty!

I don't know how he does it, but Rickard is a sandwich wizard.

Business has adapted amazingly during lockdown - from serving delicious food in Catford Mews to setting up a delivery service. Delicious, healthy but comforting, affordable vegan food with a twist, full of flavour. The Moroccan chickpea stew with couscous is one of my all-time favourite dishes!!

Great food in Catford! - Edit
I’ve been a regular at Richard’s deli in Catford Mews for several months now. This is very tasty vegan food and the menu is updated regularly. The weekend brunch is a must! We also attended the vegan night by Rickard at Bottle nearby. Great fun and fantastic food. I heartily recommend! Do go and support Daun’s Deli and have a fantastic meal!

Swedish and vegan – it doesn't get better than this! On top of that, Daun is also the most lovely person south of the Thames. Make sure to stop by before a movie!

A real South London gem - Edit
I really love Daun’s Deli. Cheez toasties and soup make great light lunches, and the bigger ‘specials’ now available following the move to Catford Mews are fantastic. I’ve tried lots of ingredients I didn’t otherwise know about, and have been know to just eat from jars of the beetroot horseradish hummus with a spoon. Prices are very good especially considering the care that goes into hand making everything, including some of the ingredients. Haven’t got a bad word to say about the place.

This place is located in Catford Mews. The food is amazing, so tasty and fresh and the guy who runs the place is so lovely! He introduces new dishes all the time. Everytime I go in there there is a new daily dish on the menu and the food is so interesting and tasty!
Read moreYou must try it. I recommend the daily dish (just a few examples pasta bolognese, moroccan stew with couscous, mash potatoes with mushroom stew) Also love the grilled cheeze sandwiches and the Nachos with home made cheeze sauce and salsa. This guy also makes his own black humous, mayo, saffron aioli and offers local vegan products like seitan, vegan brie cheeze. Will be back soon.
Pros: fresh food, homemade, good value, friendly staff

Now at Catford mews - Edit
These are great tasting small portions of scandi food. They are very reasonably priced, so you can try different ones. This is now a permanent stall at Catford mews, the new cinema in Catford. Would highly recommend the cheese toastie. £4 for different options. Had the cheese, tomato and basil. Amazing and very filling.

Best vegan food! - Edit
Daun is such a sweet man and his food is amazing! It’s all vegan and he takes such care with all his dishes. The brunch is incredible and the nachos and toasted sandwiches are drool-worthy. Probably the best vegan nachos I’ve ever eaten. Take your own jar and buy some of his saffron aolli (I don’t know how to spell that) or charcoal houmous - AHH! INCREDIBLE!

Amazing Vegan Scandi-style Food! - Edit
I never thought I’d be eating things like Skagen on toast when I first went vegan and then I found Daun’s Deli and my life has never been the same since. I have tried his stuff both at food markets and pop-ups and always been so chuffed with the quality. I can’t wait to try his new place in Catford when it opens!

YUM - Edit
Daun's Deli had a stall at Supernormal festival in Oxfordshire. There's usually a good selection of food options at the event but Daun's Deli stood out this year with it's dishes named after cool Swedish bands and it's tasty but healthy menu.
Read moreBeing lazy I selected the first item on the list, Träd Gräs Stenar, which I couldn't pronounce but was delicious. Creamy potato salad, BBQ seitan, pickled cabbage & knäckebröd, very very good. Thanks Rickard, please bring your stall back to SN again!

Food is always visually stunning and absolutely delicious. Innovative and unique creations. Stands out - and it’s great that you can enjoy food on the go but usually also purchase bottled and jarred goodness to enjoy later!

Delicious Scandinavian deli - Edit
Daun's Deli gives an excellent introduction to some of the best Scandinavian dishes, prepared and presented in an innovative, luxorious way. Be prepared to experience classics like Skagenröra on top of typical Danish rye-bread, or the potato pattie "råraka" topped with sourcream and crunchy veggies, red onion and greens. It's like a dream come true to enjoy "seafood" in this manner. Topped with lots of dill and always with a great variety of different textures and flavours. Great mix with influences from other kitchens like the mediterranean and middle Eastern. All vegan!
