Amazing place, highly recommend - Edit
Really nice restaurant/social house on Elgin. I had the tofu bao bun, fried cauliflowers and squash dumplings geisha limonade. All were amazing and the staff was super nice! Makes me want to go again and try the other vegan options!!

Delicious & creative vegan options - Edit
Really impressed by the food and drinks at Datsun. The Mai Tai and tofu Bao were delicious (although the Bao were a bit smaller than I had expected). They have many vegan menu items or items that can be made vegan with modifications.
Read moreThe staff are super friendly and service was quick and efficient. The decor and ambiance are very nice too. I recommend reservations as it can get busy.

Our server was very accommodating (offering substitutions) as needed and made suggestions on modifications. We ordered a second round of everything because it was so good!

They have an updated menu now with a bunch of extra vegan options. I was super impressed in particular by the vegan dan dan noodles, the panang curry, the kombucha squash dumplings, and the fried cauliflower.

Felt like I wasn’t cool enough to be in here, which is silly because it’s not a cool place. Super hipster, dark and loud with mediocre food.
