Saltyyyyyy - Edit
They have one ramen that can be veganized by taking off an egg but it’s soooooooooo salty and not very flavorful otherwise.

Very very salty - Edit
I love salt, but they heavily salt their food.
Read moreI ordered the vegetarian ramen, and the server seemed confused on whether it was vegan or not. I got it without peppers and added tofu. The tofu was soaked in soy sauce which added salt.
My bf had the ramen with pepper and grilled avocado. He loved it. The peppers probably help ease the saltiness. The grilled avocado was cold in the center and warm on the outside, but he like it.
All of the veggies in it were very yummy!

If you are specific it can be one of the best vegan ramen bowls - Edit
Everything on the menu marked with a "V" is Vegetarian but NOT Vegan (they use butter and eggs in almost all their sauces and dishes) BUT.. if you ask them to veganize a ramen bowl and you stay away from anything fried (because even if you don't get the sauce, it will be fried in the same oil as the animals), the vegan ramen, which is not listed on the menu, will be one of the best vegan ramen experiences you will ever have (add the grilled avocado and marinated tofu for the full experience - picture included), and the spicy boiled peanuts are great to slow you down from otherwise inhaling the ramen LOL... Enjoy!

Great Vegetarian Apps and Ramen - Edit
Dashi serves hearty vegetarian ramen and fantastic appetizers. I would highly recommend the fried cauliflower "K. F. C." appetizer.
Read moreAlso really like Dashi as a great late-night option since it's open until midnight Monday through Thursday and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Super tasty, nice izakaya - Edit
The ramen is hearty and filling even though there is usually only one veganizable option. They also have some veg based small plates.

Pretty good, depending on what’s on the menu when you get there - Edit
I wasn’t initially a fan of Dashi, but they really stepped up their game. The food here is really good, though because the menu is seasonal, it depends on when you come as some seasons have better vegan items than others. The vegan items on the menu are not clearly marked though.

Excellent Ramen - Edit
Dashi has 2 vegetarian ramen options, one hot and one cold, that can be modified to be vegan. I got the hot option(minus the butter) and added grilled avocado. It was absolutely delicious! The mushroom broth was very flavorful and rich. It also came with lots of toppings and the portion size was large enough that I took half home. All of the condiments on the table (miso, pickled ginger, sesame seeds, and chili oil) were also vegan.

Great spot - Edit
We tried out some of the vegan-friendly items at Dashi and loved the Korean fried cauliflower (hold the sauce to make it vegan), and enjoyed the black sesame nori popcorn, and the ‘vegetarian’ ramen with tofu added. The veggies and mushrooms in the ramen bowl were delicious! Be sure to ask what is vegan and what can be made vegan - We were pleased with the selections and the knowledge our server had and appreciated her suggestions.

Tasty Ramen Go-To - Edit
Their delicious vegetarian ramen is filling and flavorful! It can be made vegan by asking them to hold the scallion butter, or gluten free by asking for rice noodles. It’s the perfect spot for a Veg non-veg couple like my guy and I, since their meaty ramen options are equally fantastic. 🍜😋

Cons: Could use some more veg options
