Serves meat, vegan options available. Taco stand located across from CSU Campus. The tacos suitable for vegans are the one with sweet potato puree, kale, sliced almonds, tofu; and a Thai tofu taco with peanut sauce (coconut milk base). A few vegetarian tacos as well. The Greek taco has hummus, tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, and feta which could be substituted for tofu by request. Uses local veggies when available and cooks beans using water and sea salt (no lard). Open Tue-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm.

Order the dirty rice! - Edit
Both vegan tacos are excellent and I highly recommend them. The dirty rice is delicious and deserves a higher billing than as a side dish! Staff is super helpful and when I ordered two dairy free tacos they made the dirty rice vegan without my remembering to ask.

Not good - Edit
I appreciate that they serve non-meat options but the food was not good. I ordered the two tofu tacos. The Thai peanut sauce was bitter. Both tacos were mediocre at best. Would not recommend.

Kale salad! - Edit
The highlight of our meal, was the kale salad. To me, the vinaigrette dressing had an Asian flare and really complimented all the ingredients. Would definitely order it again! We had a taco plate with both tofu options. The beans and rice are blended together and reminded us of creole rice and bean. Everything was good!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! - Edit
We love DGT! The food is always great and super fresh. Now that they have moved out of the alley and onto the main street, I hope more folks discover this FoCo gem. Such a terrific place to take friends and co-workers since they can accommodate every diet.
Read moreWe introduced our two veg-friendly omni friends, and they loved it too. I always get the Taco Plate with the Earth, Wind, & Fire and the Thai Tofu tacos. It's a LOT of food for $15. Luckily, I had only eaten a salad all day so I was able to manage it! I splurged and got the spicy chocolate horchata as a dessert since it was my birthday.
The guys who work there are SO friendly and love to explain the menu to first-time diners like our friends who thoroughly enjoyed the food.
New location is spacious with a nicer bathroom which is a bonus.
Pros: Delicious food for everyone, Everything (except the tortillas) is made in-house, Small, local restaurant with friendly staff

Very friendly service and the vegan tacos were superb, as was the guacamole! I came here with 3 omnivores who loved it as well.

Try the Thai tofu taco - Edit
They have two vegan options on the taco menu that are both worth your time. I love taking people here whenever they visit. Small place with a hole-in-the-wall vibe and a coffee shop upstairs.

Their menu is clearly labeled DF and vegetarian, and the staff is super friendly! The tacos were flavorful and the tofu was cooked well. I really enjoyed the sauce and overall the food was really yummy.

Authentic American Tacos! - Edit
Several tacos that are, or can be made, vegan. Their rice & beans are the best I’ve ever had (honestly). They have a hearty looking kale salad I haven’t tried yet that sounds tasty. Fun drink selection and… horchata!!

Flavorful vegan and vegetarian options! - Edit
I love the flavors in the vegan tacos! Definitely not boring or bland. DGT has also made accommodations when I’ve asked for their vegetarian tacos without dairy. Super friendly staff. I eat here on regular and never get tired it!

Great Tacos - Edit
Small place with a hjandful of vegan or easily veganizable tacos/burritos. Each one is great, and very different from eachother. These are definitely like, foodie, or chef-y tacos - stuff like kale slaw, thai-inspired sauces, tofu. Also good selection of bowls. Grab a beer or horchata and sit outside when it's nice.

Nice - Edit
Get a power bowl made vegan and double it for $15 but get two meals for an athlete or 4 for another. Or get a burrito that is made of local tofu and has thai peanut sauce and cruciferous veggies. So in short, support local and eat a little healthier than chipotle.

5 stars if I could - Edit
Since I moved to foco, this place has been my go to and borderline obsession. The earth, wind and fire tacos are ridiculously addictive. They have a full vegetarian section that can be modified to vegan if asked, and Eric and the rest of the staff there make it such a welcoming place. Definitely a local business worth supporting!

So scrumptious!! - Edit
I always order the “earth, wind, and fire” tacos or burrito bowl (without the egg or cheese). It’s wonderfully flavorful, and the sliced almonds add great texture.

Okay tacos - Edit
I tried both of the vegan tacos and wasn’t really impressed. They were meh. I even ordered my husband tacos to go, and had them keep them in the kitchen under the warmer until I was ready to go. I ended up forgetting to grab them on my way out, and just decided to leave them there because I knew my husband wouldn’t like them. Too bad they don’t have a regular grilled veggie taco.

great Tacos!! - Edit
The naming of the place is perfect!! They were Dam Good Tacos!! We enjoyed the Thai Tofu and earth wind & fire Tacos. I think the earth wind and fire was my favorite. You can also get them as a bowl. I think next time we will try that. The hibiscus tea, was very good, maybe a little in the sweet side. Staff was very helpful.
