Cosmic Cockroaches! - Edit
"Sisig" (Seitan & Tofu) was super oily tasting burnt. With little rice total P 386,70. Cockroaches. Lacking service. Avoid.

Orcosmic food - Edit
We came here for lunch and after taking a moment to find the place (as there was no signage) we sat down in the beautiful softly lit cafe space. Service was very good and we ordered from the substantial menu. We ordered the sinigang, the kare-kare and the longganisa. The longganisa arrived first and was tasty and pleasantly textured. The kare-kare was rich, delicious and substantial. The sinigang arrived last and, as it was my first time trying the dish, it took me a bit by surprise with its fresh, pleasantly sour broth. A very satisfying meal that left me wanting to try the rest of the menu. I look forward to more delicious Filipino dishes on future visits. #Veganuary

Amazing Vegan Filipino food - Edit
Found this gem on Google. Everything on the menu is vegan and reminiscent of my youth when I used to eat a lot of street food. All my friends are omnivores, but they were wowed by some of the dishes like the kare-kare with 'bagnet', the barbecue 'isaw', and the sisig with 'bagnet'. Would definitely order from this place again!

The food tasted great, but… - Edit
I went there the other night for my first time during my visit to Manila. The food was very good, but they need to do a better job at fumigating the place because there were too many roaches. I don’t know if it was because it was at night, but I was constantly having to swipe them off the table and chair. It was hard to relax wondering if they might get on my clothes or my bag and end up in my hotel room. It pains me to write this because I know how valuable Vegan places are, but I’m posting this so at least you will be aware when you go. Hopefully they will have resolved the situation. At least there are a couple of other Vegan spots not too far away that didn’t have this problem.

Friendly service… Excellent cuisine! - Edit
This is my third time in the past five years visiting Manila. I have tried many of the vegan restaurants in and around the city. I don’t know how I missed trying Cosmic Poblacion but rest assured, I will be eating there often. At this point, I would have to say that it is the best vegan restaurant in Manila. The staff was friendly and the food was so delicious. All of that for a very fair price. If you are a vegan I can only say, “Try it… you will love it”.

Vegan Filipino!! - Edit
So awesome to have this delivered after a long day of sightseeing! I was on my way back to Manila and wasn’t going to make it in time for dinner, so the tour driver helped me order delivery and it was there waiting for me at the hotel when I made it back! He was super impressed that there were vegan versions of the food he grew up eating.. and so was I! I’m always so thankful to try authentic cuisine when traveling and this was so delicious!

Favorite Restaurant in Manila - Edit
Apologies and note: we ate here during a trip back in June 2023, so the menu may have changed since then.
Read moreThe food was so delicious that we ate here multiple times. During those times, we had the coco adobo, calderata, BBQ isaw, long silog, crispy fried chick-un, and sisig w/ bagnet. I never ever thought I would get to share vegan versions of some of my childhood favorites with my husband, so this place got extra points for me. I would definitely eat here again.
Pros: Delicious vegan traditional dishes, Good price, Quick service

Just what I needed - Edit
OK, we all know as Filipinos, it is VERY difficult to be vegan. And yes, even if you're vegan, you still miss those dishes and the delicious Kare Kare.

We were so happy to be there, and loved the variety of TRADITIONAL Filipino dishes offered here. We ate like little piglets.
Thank you, Cosmic! Can't wait to come back this year.

My favorite was the sisig - Edit
When I became Vegan, I missed a lot of the usual meat-based pinoy food. When I learned about Cosmic I got so excited! What an experience! Best meatless pinoy food in my opinion.

Undisputed best vegan fare - Edit
Cosmic is the best vegan restaurant in the country and it isn’t close. I’ve tried a lot of things from their very varied menu and nothing has missed yet. Strongly recommend the fried chicken, coco adobo, or anything with bagnet.

Delicious vegan versions of local dishes - Edit
I've tried several of Cosmic's veganized Filipino food and it has all been very tasty: coconut adobo, sisig, kare kare and more. While the prices are higher compared to other vegan places I've tried, the flavor has been better, so it's worth the extra $
