Coco's had great choices and the food was plentiful. We had a BBQ sandwich and a homemade veggie burger with sweet potato fries and fresh juices. Everything was great.

Additionally to the a la carte possibilities, there is always a vegan dish of the day. The boss speaks of course Portuguese and English but also a bit of French. Lovely place with the sea and sand view, so of course many tourists.

Fui sábado com a minha família não vegan ao restaurante! Adorei o facto de ser um espaço para toda a gente, com opções para todos! A minha família pediu pratos de peixe, mas a nível de entradas e sobremesas experimentaram tudo vegan e ficaram Fãs!!!! Eu adorei tudo, todas as entradas, pratos e sobremesas no ponto! O que mais conquistou foram os croquetes de espinafres, divinos! Recomendo muito!

Read moreWe had the hummus, bread and olives to start, Zé Povinho - jackfruit pull “pork” and Ama das Caldas burgers for mains, with an amazing tropical sangria. The food was amazing, super tasty as a proper vegan meal should be. The portions are very good too! The sangria was probably the best I ever had.
They also have a great desert menu, but we were so full we couldn’t fit it in our desert stomach 😅
Make sure you give this one a try if you’re in the area.

Beautiful waterfront dining in Foz do Arelho - Edit
What a surprise to find this gem along the Obidos Lagoon in Foz do Arelho. It's the second restaurant from the end, and it is perfectly situated to watch the kite surfers skim across the lagoon. Not only that, but this restaurant creates some very tasty vegan dishes. We showed up for lunch (1 pm) and not only was our waiter very kind and informative (spoke English), but he was ready to help us navigate the vegan aspects of the menu. On the menu board, he pointed out a vegan creamy vegetable soup, and then he easily steered us through the selection of tapas, toasts, salads and sandwiches. We settled on the Falafel salad and house made vegan burger. Both were very tasty and filling enough for a midday lunch. Can't go wrong with this beautiful setting! Enjoy!
