Llegamos media hora antes de la hora de cierre y fueron muy amables y nos dejaron entrar. Para entonces solo quedaba una opción del menú, pero era saludable y estaba muy buena. Espacio antiespecista y además dejan entrar a perros. No sirven alchool.

Tucked in a neighborhood across the railroad tracks from the train station, Bottelini's is a gem. The menu changes weekly and is always delicious whether you are vegan or not! This is a small restaurant that deserves our support!

Vegan lunch menu. My aubergine dish was rather small and could have had some protein and/ or salad. The carrot soup was nice and came with bread and a dip. The chocolate mousse was nice, a bit small maybe and didn't look fresh.

Read moreI wanted to love this place - it’s the only vegan eatery in town - but apart from the reasonable price for a three-course meal, I judged the food only “okay.”
I went for lunch twice: two choices of starter (soup or salad), two of main and two to four desserts, plus lemonade or pear nectar to drink. The cost for the set meal was only EUR 11,25. (Tip jar available.) I bought an anise cookie for 1 euro.
Mains included curry & rice, tofu–spinach–crumbled cornbread, cheesy potatoes and cauliflower atop beans-cabbage-onion. Desserts included panna cotta, chocolate mousse, chocolate pecan pie, apple crumble, chia pudding and others.
The soup I had was creamy carrot - an unexciting flavour. The salad had just two ingredients, greens and seeds (too many), with a non-descript vinaigrette. The tofu–crumbled cornbread dish was dry (needed some kind of sauce or aioli drizzled on it and less tofu than two slabs). The taste of the cauliflower-beans-cabbage dish was good, again had bread crumbles, was heavy on garlic and was not served hot. The chocolate mousse was dense rather than light. I liked the apple crumble, which was served warm (it could have benefitted from a drizzle of vegan cream or something).
For me, a three-course meal is too much food at one sitting, especially if I have soup as the starter and a heavy dessert. On my second visit, I discreetly put some of the main dish into my reusable takeaway container, so I wasn’t so stuffed all afternoon. I would no doubt eat here regularly, if I lived here, but I think the dishes could be improved with a few tweaks. Non-food note: maybe they could put more effort into the table decorations, or not have any at all; currently, they’re bad.
Good service from the hard-working, English-speaking server. Is this only a two-person operation?

I think the vision is there. Some dishes taste really amazing, others were a bit bland and need more attention. I don't know how to rate this... between 3 and 4. The panacota had such a nice texture but didn't taste much. Some vanilla could save it. The slides were amazing but the tortilla was a disaster. Pinapple and coriander, I couldn't eat that. An English menu would've have helped to explain what we were ordering because the staff also didn't explain very well. Also, it's not fries on the menu (although we were told so), it's crisps.

We went there in the evening for tapas. The prices are very reasonable. The service was good and the selection was amazing. We ordered everything on the card and reordered our favorites. Will definitely be back. Super recommend! This was the best vegan restaurant I have been to in Portugal so far.

I had the tofu à Zé do Pipo and my boyfriend had the favas à ribatejana. Both were amazing but the favas (broad beans, very typical Portuguese dish) was over the top.
For desert we had the brownie and the apple crumble. I didn’t love the crumble, although the apple was amazing, the crumble part was too hard and sweet.
We paid 24€ for both, including drinks, so the value for money is unquestionable!

We have eaten at Botellini several times and are always super impressed with the creativity and flavours of the food. And the food is always beautiful to look at too! The menu changes daily and they post it on social media at the beginning of the week so you can decide what day to eat there based on what sounds most appealing or interesting to you. It really is a top notch restaurant but it's incredibly reasonable for the quality and creativity of the food. The service is always excellent. I really can't say enough good things about this place.

Botellini is a guaranteed good option if you’re looking for great food. Their menu changes every week, and features dishes from all over the world. They’re mostly open only for lunch, with the occasional special dinner events, which are truly special and shouldn’t be missed. Very, very reasonable prices. They don’t serve alcohol of coffee, but do have non-alcoholic beer and wine (that’s actually not bad).

We were really happy to discover this little restaurant. The full Menu was vegan and very tasty with freshly cooked menu changing daily. The restaurant was full on a Sunday lunchtime when we went. You can book online as well as using WhatsApp. Our server was very polite and spoke. Great English. We left having eaten exceptionally well for a great price. I only negative is that the room was a little cold, and they do not have coffee!
