Sehr leckere Tacos, aber laut - Edit
Der Club Mexicana in Spitalfields hat tolle Tacos. Wir waren am Taco Dienstag da. Dann gibt es für 20£ so viele Tacos, wie man möchte. Man bekommt immer 3 von einer Sorte. Wir hatten Al Pastor Tacos (fanden wir ok, das Schawarma schmeckte ähnlich wie Like Meat Grilled Chicken) und die BBQ Short Rip Tacos (wirklich exzellent, dafür würde ich wiederkommen, so was habe ich noch nie vorher gegessen, absolut überraschend die Sour Creme). Die Classic Margarita kommt mit einem Chili-Salz-Rand und war sehr gut.
Read moreLeider waren die Tacos nicht besonders heiß und es war unglaublich laut. Für uns zu laut und overwelming. Ja, Mexikaner sind meistens laut, aber wir konnten uns nur schreiend unterhalten.
Das Personal war nett, etwas unaufmerksam, und weil wir nur eine Tacorunde hatten haben wir auch nur den normalen Preis von 15£ für 3 Tacos bezahlt. Der Tip wird automatisch auf die Rechnung aufgeschlagen.

I really liked the tacos, the piña colada and the churros. My stomach is a bit delicate and I didn’t digest very well si be warned! The service was nice but a bit slow and not very attentive.

I wasn't expecting too much as Mexican vegan food outside the Americas can be disappointing, but this place changed that for me. Wowzers! The BBQ 'beef' burrito and birria tacos were heavenly (although I slightly burned my thumb trying to pick up a birria taco, so you should probably wait a few minutes until they cool a bit!) 😄
Read moreWe went during Happy Hour, which is a great deal but I found the cocktails a bit heavy on the sugar syrup. The churros were undercooked but otherwise, LOVED the savory dishes.

I got birria tacos plate of three with consommé dipping sauce and a portion of tortilla chips with chipotle oil and chilli & lime salt.
Read moreThe tortillas were really good, the oil was a good mix and it worked well as a starter.
The tacos tasted great especially with the dipping sauce (I just stopped myself from drinking it..).
Gnome child got 3 of the tofish and chips taco and the corn on the cob.
I tried some of both and they were tasty as well.
I would definitely eat here again, the place had a nice style and the staff were nice.

I got three to'fish tacos and corn on the cob. I also tried one of Purp's birria, and one of their tortilla chips.

The corn on the cob was delicious! I would happily come here again just for it. It was spicy and savoury and perfect. I would have liked if they had the things you can put in the end of corn on the cob so you can hold it easier, but that's a minor complaint.
The to'fish tacos were very nice. The sauce was very salty so I was glad that they didn't put a lot in it.
The birria were amazing, especially the consommé. I would drink the consommé. If I come here again I will get these. They were the most savoury thing in the world, which was exactly what I wanted.
The staff were lovely and the service was fast.
The music was very loud.

Indulgent Mexican feast - Edit
The tacos and brunch options are hearty and tasty. Highlight was the BBQ 'rib' tacos which were meaty, smoky and oh so moreish. A great range of hot and cold drinks too. Lovely staff to boot. Will be back!

I had my eye on this place for a while and wanted to love it but sadly I didn't. I'm not opposed to processed meat substitutes, they are a guilty pleasure of mine but they seem to dominate the menu here and the food didn't do it for me. Despite a mix up with our order, which caused it to be delayed, our experience was outstanding. The staff are all lovely! The cocktails were fantastic and worth the trip alone. The birria Tacos were a real highlight, absolutely delicious!

The food is actually very good in flavour, big thumbs up that most of the items are made from scratch by the company (sauces included). Obvs it’s very adjusted to the British taste and some of the items on the menu you wouldn’t look for in Mexico. It’s good not authentic tho.

The Tofish Tacos were incredible, but not a big meal so I’d suggest ordering a side. The cheeseburger burrito, in contrast, was substantial. The fries had a nice, spicy kick.

Service was very slow and inattentive, so there was a very long wait for food and to pay.

Good food, good flavors, decently sized portions. Churros and salted caramel ice cream were wonderful. Service a little slow. Had to ask for a side of salsa verde for the tacos al pastor. Otherwise, highly recommended!
