5* based off the options of tex mex/mex in London and especially vegan. Won't blow your mind but definitely the best you'd get over here. Good size portions and decent fake meats. Lovely staff and nice vibe. Half price cocktails 5-7 on weekdays! I would be keen to go back and try the taco Tuesday deal.

We were tempted in by the option of all you eat tacos for £20 each. In the event, we only managed to eat six each - but they were all delicious so we left happy! The ribs were our definite favourite, closely followed the tofish but everything was good. If you want to double down on the good deal, come before 7pm & you can also enjoy half-price cocktails! 🌮 🍸

Read moreAfter travelling in Mexico and eating an ungodly number of tacos, we went in with unrealistic expectations of how many we could manage... we only managed 8 each!!! These tacos are huge.
The al pastor was really yummy and reminded us of the ones in Mexico - Needs more pineapple though!
We really enjoyed the fish and rib tacos, both were very very tasty.
The oyster mushroom ones were too creamy/saucy/salty/rich... we are by no means fussy, but neither of us liked them, which is a rare occurrence!
Overall, it was a fun experience and a cheaper way to try all their tacos. Staff were lovely and friendly, nice atmosphere.

Anniversary meal - taco tuesday - Edit
Came here for the bottomless tacos but left feeling so embarrassed at my measly 7. I got to try all 5 types of tacos for just £20 and they were all so great. The atmosphere was really nice and it was super busy. I had written on our booking it was our anniversary and the place wasnt too full but we got a pretty rubbish table by the counter/in the walkway but ultimately I was too full of tacos to care!

Went with friends for Taco Tuesday (good value if you want to try everything). We loved the ribs and to-fish, thought the oyster mushroom was fine but very heavy on the fried coating, and did not enjoy the cheezeburger or shawarma at all (the fake meats were extremely processed and the flavours not great either).
Read moreOur overall impression was that Club Mexicana does its best dishes very well, but also has a couple of disappointing menu items; for that reason, we probably wouldn’t recommend Taco Tuesday: just order off the regular menu.
I have also been to the Soho location and really enjoyed the chorizo and sweet potato burrito bowl, so I do think lots of their food is excellent — just a bit hit and miss!
Would definitely recommend coming here as long as you order wisely.

My son ordered a virgin cherry frozen margarita, which tasted off - a bit too sour and the 'cherry' they put on it he wanted to spit out. He also ordered the loaded nachos, and the 'vegan chorizo' tasted like black beans, the guacamole didn't taste like a real avocado. The cheese sauce seemed nice, but there wasn't enough of it.
I ordered two tacos, which were okay, but so tiny! The vegan kale Caesar was decent.
I went with my cousin who is not a vegan and she seemed to enjoy her burrito bowl.
The service was also a bit strange. One person seated us, another person took our order and only delivered some of it - I had to ask for my salad to be brought from the counter to the table by someone else. Then the original server just never came back. We had to flag down someone for the bill and then to pay the bill and while they were VERY nice - there was hardly anyone in the restaurant so I'm not sure why they were so flaky.

I’ve always wanted to go here and it was a surprise for my birthday! The food blew me away, some of the best tacos I’ve ever had and such a huge range of margaritas to choose from. The nachos were especially great, the cheese sauce was so tasty. The staff were very attentive and we got 2 free drinks for my birthday!

Very tasty food! However do be prepared for fake meat and cheese. I had the quesadilla which was great, and 2 tacos. This was perfect for 1 person. Oh and the drinks are great! Advised to book a table in advance.

My partner and I booked the Margarita brunch and had a good time. We ordered the Loaded Nachos to share (which we've had before at another location), and I ordered the Birra Tacos (which aren't available at all Club Mexicana locations).

We really enjoyed our lunch here - loaded nachos (with black beans subbed in) & the ‘chick’en’ burrito bowl. The service was excellent & super attentive. The food was fresh. I just didn’t like the faux chicken. I should have subbed in beans.

Read moreRob then came over and introduced himself as the server. He is a vegan chef and previously worked in the kitchen but is equally fascinated with front of house and decided to balance his skillset. What a lovely person he is.
Thursday evening and the place filled up with hungry vegans 🌱 in no time. My friend turned up and we got lost in conversation as we go back to 1991 and have loads to chin wag about so I forgot to take pictures of the amazing food.
Suffice to say the food is as good as the staff and the property and I’ll be back loads and will take pictures of the food next time.
It’s worth noting that this end of commercial street has become home to vegan 🌱 brands with 4 places all within spitting distance of each other.
