Tasty, good quantity - Edit
Really friendly host with good English who was very clear what could be made vegan. There were 3 or 4 mains options, plus a couple of appetisers. The vegetable curry was really nice. Rice is separate, we found one order of the rice would have been good for 2 people unless you're starving.

The guy who runs it was so lovely and spoke good English. He knew exactly the difference between vegan and vegetarian and was able to adapt a lot of the dishes to provide a large variety of choice. Would recommend going here!

Very nice indian food - Edit
The taste was really nice. Try the tofu steak, the spice mix is fantastic. The chef is super friendly and one can communicate well in english. The menu has a few options for vegans, but it seems the chef is open to make vegetarian dishes vegan. I recommend to order some rice, bread etc. to a curry if it‘s not already included.

I'm used to heavy competition of Indian restaurants in Toronto area so the extremely high quality and low prices of Indian food there is crazy. If I were to rank it based on that then this place wouldn't really hold its ground since it was about 15$ for a paalak paneer. But I'll give it a good score basing it off Japan standards. Food was good though, no complaints about the taste. Naan was okay, could've been better. The chef was nice and friendly.

This Indian restaurant is conveniently located near Kiyomizudera. It has some good vegan options and the owner can make other options, if necessary. The food is tadty and well priced.
