Pretty bland - Edit
Food is the equivalent of mayo on white bread. There's a light lemony savory taste and you get two carrot slices and thumb of broccoli and yam. Why not stuff this with tons of veggies instead of letting soy milk be the main ingredient?

If I’d have had a choice at home about ordering noodles in sweet miso broth with soya milk and an orangey flavour I wouldn’t have considered it. However, in Japan with limited choice I went for it and it was fab! It’s a flavour I’ve never had before and wasn’t used to but it was an education. And ordering from a machine then watching your dinner being cooked as one of just 10 guests was a treat. Definitely worth going!

Best vegan ramen I had in Japan! - Edit
Delicious white miso soy milk ramen made with local ingredients! Broth was amazing, with hints of yuzu, and toppings were amongst the most generous I encountered in Japan for a vegan ramen - came with a large fried tofu pocket, and some veggies. Staff are super friendly as well!
Read moreThis place is quite popular, so be prepared to queue up - we waited about 1hr when we arrived at 2pm on a weekday. Space is also quite limited inside as well - it is all counter seating overlooking the kitchen area so may not be suitable for larger groups.
Ordering is done through a vending machine which accepts cash only - the single vegan option is clearly labelled.
