Downtown Vegan delight - Edit
I picked 3 options because I couldn't decide and I was really hungry. They heat it up if you want to dine in. As of this review vaccine proof required for Dine In only. To go no problem. Also they provide masks if you don't have one which are also required when not eating. I came at early lunch on a rainy Wednesday, not busy. Plenty of attention service was excellent. Coffee was tasty. I really liked everything I ate, mac n cheese with meat, herb cutlet and the ginger cookie. #Veganuary

Eclectic and Amazing - Edit
Went for breakfast- the hash with leeks and parsnips - AMAZEBALLS.
Read moreI also had the pumpkin waffle which I was hesitant because it’s gluten free, but it did not disappoint. Savory with a zing of ginger I believe. Very filling. Unless your someone below reviewing, one should be plenty as they are quite dense, but still a little fluffy.
Pros: It’s all vegan, Super Friendly staff
Cons: A little spendy

Good sides - Edit
Deli style Cafe with lots of different sides. I got a pumpkin waffle that came with some sort if cinnamon butter, and corn fritter, both were delicious. Hubby got the mac and cheese and curry cauliflower. The cauliflower was great, mac n cheese was decent.
Read morePros: Everything was vegan and also clearly marked, gluten or soy free. Staff was very nice.
Cons: Didn't have a huge amount of bakery items.

Nice waffles - Edit
The pumpkin waffle was a nice way to start my day. But a single waffle wasn’t quite filling enough. I’d suggest ordering two! Nice folks that were welcoming

Deli-style, quick, convenient eatery! - Edit
Drove through Spokane during a recent trip from Portland to Sandpoint. We found this listing on Happy Cow and, unfortunately, the website was down and couldn't locate a menu. We ended up calling elsewhere and ordered ahead, but when we got to Spokane we had time to kill and saw this place was open. We checked it out and realized the food was served deli-style, so it was already prepped and on display, you could simply pick and choose your options! Everything looked incredible, and the person at the counter told me that the rotating menu that day was 100% vegan. My boyfriend ended up getting an iced coffee which he said was delicious. We wish we had been able to stop in and eat, because this was the perfect road trip pit stop! So quick and convenient with lots of options to choose from!

Lots of options - Edit
Corn fritter was really good. Mac and cheese decent, but the typical nutritional yeasty kind. Bloody Mary and freshly squeezed orange juice screwdriver were exceptional.

Our first stop this morning was Boots Bakery and Lounge in Spokane. Oh My Lanta!!!!!! This place is absolutely amazing. The vibe is super chill and the food out of this world! We couldn’t pass up the pumpkin waffles we heard so much about, and they did not disappoint! 😋. We also tried a cupcake (breakfast of 7 year old champions apparently), two different scrambles, potato croquettes, sausage frittata, a thai collard wrap and minted fruit. I think we ate enough to get all the way to Bellingham 😂🥰( don’t hold me to that 😂). The patio was delightful, the staff was absolutely lovely, and I hope to come back sometime soon! ❤️

Fabulous find - Edit
I love Boots and we go there every time we are in Spokane. Everything is vegan and delicious. The hardest part is choosing which delectable looking dish to eat. Currently there is only outdoor seating or takeout due to Covid but normally indoor seating is a fun and whimsical environment.

Good but.... - Edit
Serves good food, it’s sort of deli style, I think it’s expensive to be serving cold food that’s microwaved. Staff isn’t the friendliest.

Great vegan food - Edit
We visited here 31 Jan 2020. Good choice of food in deli like setting. You choose what you want and it is heated if needed. Hubby was happy with the bar area as well. Their knowledge of English tea was lacking (Earl Grey is not English breakfast) and the only unsweetened non dairy milk they had was hemp, which to be fair was delicious. We had samosa which was more like a Bhakti, pineapple rice, ‘sausage’ all very tasty.
Read morePros: Good choice of whole vegan foods, Good selection of alcoholic drinks, Funky hippy atmosphere
Cons: No fixed menu. Faves might not be there , Milks are sweetened except hemp

I love options! - Edit
I love Boots! They have so many choices, and flavors. I love the sausage hash, Allison’s breakfast, and the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. I have rarely been disappointed, and they will give you a sample bite if you are having a hard time choosing. The fresh made pumpkin waffles are perfect too. The owner, Allison, is beautiful inside and out! My only complaint is the staff... you just don’t know what you are going to get. It seems the friendliness lately is consistent, which is a positive change from previous years when some employees were not very kind.

Great spot in downtown Spokane! - Edit
Everything here is vegan! The only reason it’s not consider a vegan place is cause they have half and half for coffee.. Their food is unreal. Great pumpkin waffle and breakfast items and really good deserts as well. If you bring in your own tupperware they will discount your meal!

Great place! - Edit
I needed to camp out somewhere in the morning, and Boots was an inviting place with plenty of space, and delicious food and drink. The almond milk latte was deliciously rich without being too bitter, and the chai latte had the perfect level of sweetness. Over the course of the morning I ordered the scramble, mac and cheese, power greens, and cauliflower and chickpeas. All yummy - some dishes have some heat. Seems most tables have outlets, and they have free wifi. If I lived in Spokane I'd definitely be a regular here.

So many vegan options, not enough space in my tummy! - Edit
I definitely over ate and spent way too much money because I was excited and wanted to try all the options! The pumpkin waffle was crispy and delicious and we also have the sausage frittata and Southwest potato salad - all vegan of course!
Read moreTheir servers were friendly! The only downfall was parking, but that can’t be helped and there still did seem to be plenty of street parking surrounding (I just hate paying metered street parking). Still totally worth it!

Threw Away Food, Good Service - Edit
We got the chocolate bundt cake and the strawberry coffee cake. Both were really terrible. It seems like the fruit bars and brownies are the most popular as they were gone. Service was good and super cute place, but I would not recommend the desserts.

Must visit when in Spokane - Edit
This casual eatery is conveniently located just blocks from the Convention Center. At various times of the day they serve breakfast, lunch, hot & cold beverages, dinner and bar drinks. Nice street cafe outdoors. Baked goods are both vegan and gluten-free. The only non-vegan item is dairy for coffee/tea beverages. I had the pumpkin waffle - it was AMAZING. A must visit for veg*ns when in Spokane.
