Sweet spot! - Edit
What a sweet spot run by 1 man, loved his smile and energy. I hope everyone is nice to him because it was obvious how hard he was working to take orders and cook! Food took a while to come out as he made each dish at a time. Really enjoyed the tofu with tomato and green beans. Also had the spring rolls which were nice and crispy. Didn’t have a lot of filling but found them tasty. Liked the vibe and cold beers and we thought it was worth it!

Such a relief! - Edit
Such a relief to find a place with a separate page for vegetarian items which could easily be veganized.
Read moreWe spent 2.5 days on the Ha Giang loop and were definitely tired eating tofu and rice so this was a great spot to pick up a meal for our ride back to Hanoi!
We tried the fried rice and asked them to put in the soybean “beef” and it was very flavorful and perfect for the bus ride back.

Owner got the ingredients fresh on the spot - Edit
Had some noodles with veggies and a orange juice. When we ordered the owner ran trough the street to get all the ingredients fresh, wich was really nice. The food tasted good and it was for a fair price.

Great experience - Edit
I felt so safe eating here as someone who eats strictly plant based. I am also super picky ! Food was delicious and the owner I believe (male) was super kind and generous. Friendly and amazing service. Support these small businesses they deserve it! He made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of

Such a cute spot - Edit
The owner was so helpful with accomodating for vegans. He explained there was some items no longer on the menu as there is less tourists and was so apologetic. He went and got tofu from a vendor up the road, fried it and cooked it in the best tasting tomato sauce I’ve had since being in Vietnam. So much flavour and so incredibly fresh. I recommend this place for a cheap street meal!

Excellent restaurant - Edit

Amazing fake meat - Edit
I tried the fake beef in lemongrass and absolutely loved it! I also had the vegan chicken with lemongrass but enjoyed the beef more. It’s a nice little place to go in Ha Giang. I definite surprise!

Bad food, small portions - Edit
This was, unfortunately, the very worst tofu and tomato we've had in about ten days of eating it every single day in Northern Vietnam. It was full of sugar and just didn't taste good at all.
Read moreThe portion was also super small, making it expensive for Vietnam, where we usually pay the same price (40k dong) for at least double the size of the portion.

The food delicious - Edit
Dont eat the spring roll as other reviews mentioned, but the pho was omg! Felt like a nice home made soup in the middle of the winter. All the rest of the food we ate there was amazing!

Not vegetarian? - Edit
The menu says vegetarian, but specify you don't want fish sauce either (be firm), maybe they'll listen. I'm not sure they want to prepare without fish sauce, because they served it with the veggie spring roles consistently.

Terrible food - Edit
Spring rolls are really greasy (the worst ones I had in Asia) and the fried noodle is depressing (and I think it was cooked with fish sauce). The portions are not even big. Staffs don’t speak English.

Good - Edit
Good restaurant with vegan options. I wouldn’t rate that place as pricey. It’s closer to $ than $$ to me. I was going to order more than I needed and the owner advise me honestly I should cancel 2 plates. In the end, it was delicious and the 5 of us ate plenty enough !

unfriendly, overpriced and not tasty at all. - Edit
I came here for lunch with my omnivore friend. I've never seen such a bad service in my life. Which already made me doubt about the passion and love that is put into the food. The portions were way too small and overpriced, the spring rolls were greasy and barely had any filling. Also, I needed to wait very long for my food (my friend got served his single meat stick for 25000 VND immediately), which i understand if the plate I'm finally getting translates into the work that they've put into it. But no, big disappointment on my plate. The waitress was rolling her eyes all the time and she couldn't smile the slightest bit. Even though we stayed friendly and didn't complain. I've eaten better vegan food in "pho" and "com" places that don't even know what vegan means after explaining them "an chay"'. I don't understand why this place is listed on happy cow. Never again. Waste of time and money.

awesome! - Edit
I really loved this place and we actually ate here everyday! It is a really hard working friendly family. They are open until 11pm everyday which is also nice. The beef&chicken on the vegetarian menu are actually vegan which I think is pretty unique in Vietnam (and was really tasty, but small portion tho). I can really recommend the “pancake without meat”. It is not a sweet pancake as you might think, but its vietnamese “pancake” that comes with vegetables and ricepaper to roll some kind of springrolls. The coffee is also nice authentic Vietnamese coffee, really good and strong! Oh and last but not least: the pumpkin with garlic is also really nice! :)

A great spot for some really delicious vegetarian and vegan food! - Edit
This is a great restaurant run by a really awesome woman! Most items on the menu (the veg stuff) are vegetarian and not vegan, but if you speak to the owner, she will happily leave out the eggs and do what she can to veganise it for you.
Read moreWe ate here twice while in Ha Giang and I would go back 100 times over just for the spinach and peanut salad! It's incredible! All the food is really good and it's a pleasant place to sit and relax while eating.

Pros: Lots of veggie options, many of them easily made v
