Good Vegan Options - Edit
We are happy with the vegan lunch. We had rice with vegetables and fried tofu. For take-away we ordered vegan „Banh Mi“.

Simple but nice food - Edit
I had noodles with vegetables and it was nice, simple (don't expect "gourmet" food) but still nice. Very friendly staff!! And the tea was amazing.

Nice food and friendly staff - Edit
Went there because there are very little veggie options in Ha Giang - the food was nice (fried noodles with veggies) and the mango smoothie was also super delicious. I was the only person there but the ladies working there we’re super friendly. Check it out😄

Easy & delicious food (lot of vegan options, when asked) - Edit
A rare place in Hà Giang. I had a fruit salad and noodle soup for lunch, which both was very tasty.
Read moreThe owner Hao and her team are so lovely. I was gifted with a fresh ploughed orange as provision for my further travel.
As I unintentionally paid double amount of what I should have, Hao located me at a nearby supermarket and returned the money paid to much🙏 💚
Pros: Vegan options, Very kind and friendly owner

Simple, cheap food - Edit
I got “fried rice” with vegetables (really it was steamed rice with a few small chopped veggies like carrots and peas), a side dish of stir fried vegetables (mostly sliced cabbage), sweet potato fries (kind of bland with no salt or spices), and a mango shake (good). The owners were really nice. The place is also a homestay and travel agency targeting Israeli tourists. The walls are covered in Hebrew “thank yous” and a motorcycle tour of Israelis came in while we were eating. Overall it was ok and I’m grateful the vegetarian option exists but it was not my favorite.

light food - Edit
Cool place. The food is simple, light and fresh. Don’t expect a lot of flavour&spices, however it is really nice. Clean, calm and focus on vegetarianism. Comfortable after eating on The streets in vietnam. Good portions, fair price.

Decent food for location - Edit
Average food in a city lacking options. Would rate 3 stars in most other cities, but it’s nice to have somewhere to eat. Had both the fried noodles with vegetables and the rice with vegetables and tofu. Both were quite bland. Had to add soy sauce and sweet chili sauce to both.

🍚🐶 - Edit
Food is fine. Nothing to write home about, not super flavorful. Good portion sizes though so it's a welcome find in Ha Giang. Also they have a 2mo puppy that likes to snuggle.

Vegan breakfast, lunch and dinner - Edit
The do banana pancakes that are vegan. Perfect fuel for the loop. They do vegan lunch and dinner also. No meat cooked here. Egg and dairy in some dishes. Ask the chef's or the owner about specific dishes.

One of the few options in Ha Giang - Edit
Came here when the chay place we tried was shut. Ok food, not a huge menu and not very creative - tofu and tomato sauce, veg noodles and rice, etc. Very similar to what is offered at non veg restaurants in Vietnam. However options in Ha Giang are fairly limited so is nice to have this as a bit of security.

Clean quiet resturant - Edit
Had the veggie noodles. Resturant was clean and the lady who served me was friendly. Noodles were 35k and they were not bad, also tried the potato cake on the side for an extra 5k. Not alot of choice here in Ha Giang so can't really complain.

Good - Edit
After reading all the reviews I simply think the owner that everybody talks about wasn't here for us. A couple of younger people were running the place that night, the welcome was definitely not warm even though the girl later became nicer.
Read moreFood was cooked from scratch but truly not so amazing, very basic flavours. After using the condiments on the table it was ok.
Wish they had house made condiments rather than just bottles of soy/hot sauce.
We ended up meeting the owner the next day and indeed, it seems like it would have been a different experience!
Will give it another try!
Pros: Cooked from scratch, Cheap
Cons: Not so tasty

Small place with amazing fresh food - Edit
Small vegetarian/vegan place located in Hà Giang. Almost everything is vegan except you have the option of adding egg to some dishes. Just clarify with the owner beforehand and she’ll kindly explain anything on the menu to you. Staff are extremely welcoming and the owner went out of her way to show me how she cooks various dishes. The mushrooms are grown fresh and the food is really tasty, would strongly recommend this spot to anyone visiting!

Long wait for meh food - Edit
Ordered 4 dishes, one came every 10-15 minutes. Food wasn’t bad but nothing special. It’s a homestay so it seems as if they are not set up to be a restaurant catering to any more than the guests of the homestay. Tea was really good!

Fresh and delicious food with cozy atmosphere - Edit
I eat a few times at Haos tea house during my stay in Ha Giang. She cooks the food fresh for every guest, that means that it takes a little bit longer but it is worth it. The food is super fresh and tasty and during the waiting time you can enjoy one of the local teas she serves and enjoy the familiar athmosphere.
