Reliably Delightful - Edit
Awesome all Vegan menu. I have been going here for years and its my favortie place for lunch. Farmers Market Salad is my go-to. Hefty salad stocked full of fresh raw veggies. And the Whalebird Kombucha on tap is prime-go for the Dry Hopped Pamplemousse flavor!

Great Vegan food! - Edit
I had the 2 day old maple donuts and they tasted so good. It was obvious they were not filled with a bunch of refined sugar! We also had the peanut butter crunch bowl and the bhima bowl. Both were excellent and incredibly filling. They had outdoor as well as indoor seating. If they had padded seating we weren’t aware of it. The iron chairs we sat on were nice, but didn’t invite you to sit for longer periods.

All Vegan deliciousness - Edit
I've been going to Bliss Cafe for years now and love it. Everything on the menu is vegan. The all day breakfast burrito is my favorite and their salads are really good. The yogurt parfait is worth a try but I like mine a bit sweeter so I add agave to mine. They have some good vegan books and even children's books too! Very kid friendly place. You can sit inside or out by the creek. Kombucha on tap and refreshing lemonade. They offer smoothies and smoothie bowls too. Great place to eat. And the deserts are amazing! Cookies are my fav.

Blissful Experience - Edit
Being from out of town I enjoy making Bliss Cafe my first and last stop. Everything on the menu is delicious and made to order. All the ingredients are fresh and the consistency is like you would expect in a franchise restaurant. I've eaten at a lot of different restaurants throughout the country in my travels and I am always impressed with the quality each time we visit. I've even been known to convince friends to bring me an all day breakfast burrito home which is over a 100 miles away when I learn they are in SLO for the weekend. Highly recommend

Wonderful atmosphere - Edit
Came here with my family, everyone loved their food and we all left incredibly happy and satisfied. The outdoor patio is really nice and if you come at the right time, you can hear concerts at the mission nearby. Note: the serving sizes are giant, so be prepared for leftovers or splitting a meal ;)

Cute, friendly, cafe with a sweet outdoor naturesque patio. - Edit
We sat outside in a lovely patio that was sectioned off from an adjacent restaurant. There was a harpist playing the harp for ambiance. I liked the good variety of choice to the menu, which appeared all vegan and I appreciated the gluten free options. There are several juice options as well as desert options we might like to try another time. We ordered the Buddha Bowl with tempeh, it was very simple, fresh and satisfying. It was also a bit pricey for what it contains, but sometimes you pay a premium for eating in a place that is exclusively vegan even if there are no frills. Like another reviewer, I also took off one star, because I had a special request when I ordered the seaweed cut roll, due to an allergy, which they "forgot", picked out the item and returned it and only then asked if it was due to allergy and when I said yes took it back to remake it which meant a lot of waiting. Perhaps they were under staffed for a weekend, because the tables needed busing and bathroom supplies also were lacking. Overall, we were happy to have a vegan option.

wonderfully fresh in a creek side setting! - Edit
We are here on a coastal drive down the PCH. This cafe is nestled in the Network Shopping Center with its back patio on a small creek. The food is all fresh and delicious and the patio is pet-friendly :)

We visit this place multiple times every time we are in SLO. Every single thing we've had has been fantastic. I wish we had this restaurant in our hometown. I can't say enough good things about it, just go.

Hits the Spot - Edit
There's never a lack of food when I go here. They give you gigantic portions (I'm a big guy and I can barely finish any of the meals). I love this place, but my non-vegan girlfriend absolutely hates it. I've taken her here three times and she refuses to ever go back with me. Kind of unfortunate, because she usually doesn't mind when I take her to these kinds of places.
Read moreBesides that. Generally a great experience every visit. Minus one star because I've had a few issues when ordering (ask for no cucumber, salad has cucumber on it, etc.)
Pros: Friendly staff, Relaxing environment, Healthy and tasty food
Cons: My non-vegan girlfriend hates the food, Don't always get what I order, A bit on the expensive side

Been going here for years. The protein Buddha bowl with tempeh hits the spot when I'm really hungry. If you know people who aren't vegan this is a perfect spot to bring them. They have juices, smoothies and just all around really great food. 5 stars.

Not impressed - Edit
The place is big, lots of seating and fully vegan. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

Great place to eat for lunch or dinner! - Edit
I was visiting SLO and was looking for a restaurant that would fill me up. Sure I could go get pizza or go to Whole Foods but I wanted to try a new restaurant. Even though I'm vegan, I'm even more picky. So I kept finding restaurants that served sandwiches, baked good or salads but I didn't want any of that. I came across this place and was stoked. The place is beautifully decorated, very chill environment and has a beautiful huge patio area next to the creek. I ordered the Tamari Stir Fry and loved it! ( Marinated grilled tofu with veggies and rice) They have a big menu from Tacos/Burritos to Sandwhiches all the way to Assorted bowl meals. Oh yeah, they also have cookies and donuts. Overall, I would totally come here again. :) Pluuuuuuus, if you want to kill time they have chess tables. Sweet.

Nice vegan resto - Edit
Lovely ambiance with a patio adjacent to the creek and perfectly situated near the mission. Lots of options here with a ton of juices, smoothies, sandwiches, salads and bowls to pick from. The fact you need to order without a seat makes this quite overwhelming. I had the green energy bowl which was delicious. The sauce was supposed to be ginger tahini but all I could taste was coconut. Lots of veggies and good tempeh which was nice.

Wonderful spot, I'd eat here daily if I lived here - Edit
Bliss Cafe is a wonderful spot tucked away down next to a gorgeous creek. I had no idea San Luis Obispo had such a European style area. There are several restaurants along a quite walking path with artwork leading to the Modern Art Museum. The Outdoor cafe seating is completely tranquil & perfect for a relaxing lunch. The cafe style eatery also has indoor seating with chess sets & games. There are a plethora of vegan items, but the highlight for us was that they do not use onions & garlic & had soups & a baja bowl that were completely oil-free whole plant based!!! The chef even whipped up some delicious & spicy hot sauce just for me! Extremely nice & friendly service real care & attention to the quality of the food & health of their patrons! The lavender lentil soup was really something beyond the imagination of my taste buds. The chef who created it deserves some real recognition. After our first bite we ordered another for the road! Find your Bliss & find it often!

Adorable place on a creek with views of the mission. We liked the veggie protein sandwich with split pea soup (which was not too thick and had lots of flavor). The donuts were disappointing because they weren't deep fried and the frosting wasn't amazing.

Very cool vegan cafe - Edit
Firstly, I love the funky 'yogi' theme in this cool vegan cafe. The menu is extensive & food generally very healthy. My wife & I ordered a wrap & burger; both were well presented, healthy & pretty tasty. The fresh juice & smoothie menu was extensive, and the two we ordered were both delicious & healthy, although it was disappointing that our fresh orange juice was obviously straight from a bottle when first served to us After bringing it to the staff's attention, they were happy to replace it but is was still disappointing service in a place that feels so full of love. Overall, I enjoyed our meal here and would still highly recommend it for a delicious & healthy meal.

Food with a positive vibration - Edit
I believe that food isn't just spices or slices, but also the mood and love that one cooks with. In that category, Bliss gets 5 stars. From the owner to the staff, everyone there is conscious and shows care. I love the peace plate and the burrito! The smoothies are out of this world.
