Great food! - Edit
We went 2 days in a row and they have great vegan options. The paella is amazing, the spicey spuds are great and the Lions mane mushroom flatbread was delicious. Highly recommend!

Delicious and creative vegan option - Edit
It would be awesome if Luna Red went fully vegan! For now, they have a delicious squash and corn fritter that was simply amazing. My non vegan friend also ordered it and stated it was delicious. We both ate every last morsel. There was another vegan entree option that I’m going to try next time. We were there for lunch, so ordered from the lunch menu.

Great for sharing! - Edit
This place is great! They’re owned by Novo which is a few blocks down on Higuera. They have some great options too that are easier to share than the options at Novo! Plus they have outside and inside seating!
Read moreA few things we have ordered have come and gone from their specials, or lunch menu’s to dinner menus. They do tofu cheese here as well and cashew cream sauces so keep an eye out!
This last time we went, we ordered some drinks and split a paella, along with some chips and salsa and the Brussels sprouts. The chips and salsa are super unique! The red salsa it a bit more sweet and the green has olives in it! The brussel sprouts were insane! Golden raisins and a tofu cheese that tasted of a mix between cottage cheese and ricotta cheese. I would order that on my own if I only ordered one thing, it was so good!
The paella is HUGE! It feeds 4 people, and is beyond tasty. Something I wish I could learn to cook at home! Everything is so flavorful and full of veggies and color! I love the grilled lemon especially and drench it with every drop I can. Highly recommend trying this. It wasn’t too bad of a price too if you’re splitting it among others!
We have had some mushroom tacos here for lunch in the past, as well as a fried potato zucchini fritter. Everything I’ve had here has been great and the service is always really good! Very friendly and very knowledgeable about what vegan means!!
Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in town or looking to try something new! Also it’s usually a lot easier to get in here than novo so that is also a plus!
Pros: Vegan labeled options , Very flavorful dishes, Outside seating

Amazing vegan options - Edit
Many vegan options, vegan paella has great flavors with a nice nutty touch of sliced almonds. Potatoes were very well spiced. Very nice garden court for eating. Warning, the bells from the. Church are loud!

Tasty Vegan Options on a Lovely Patio - Edit
My friend and I split the brussel sprouts with the vegan queso. They were so yummy with nice seasoning and the sweetness of the raisins were nice. Then we had the cauliflower tacos which we unique and also really tasty. Ended the meal with a coconut topped chocolate pie. The chocolate was dense dark chocolate. Decedent! A bit on the expensive side but tasty and a good option while in town. Vegan or vegan options were clearly labeled.

Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
The view was perfect: the Mission and creek covered in holiday lights, and the restaurant's atmosphere is sophisticated and warm. Vegan meals are plentiful, well prepared, and marked on the menu. We serendipitously came on a Tuesday and enjoyed a platter of 10 miso mushroom tacos and the special, which were vegan vegetable tacos with a coconut sauce, for $25 because it was Taco Tuesday (normally $40, which is still a good price for feeding 3 or 4 people.) We were also accidentally there for Happy Hour, so enjoyed a giant bowl of freshly made chips and homemade salsas ( a red, and a black bean corn one) for $6 Our daughter had the vegan empanadas with black beans and a tofu feta. The staff were super friendly and the evening was leisurely and quiet enough for good conversation.

A few creative and tasty vegan options. Had the eggplant frites and LOVED the soyrizo on it. Bummed the paella was so expensive otherwise I would have gotten it!

unique and delicious - Edit
We loved this place! Lovely ambiance with plenty of outdoor options (and heat lamps). Friendly and fast service. AMAZING vegan options - unique and flavorful. We had the Ethiopian spiced potatoes, the evening's special eggplant dish (with homemade tofu cheese), and vegetable paella. The wine list was excellent and they also offer several non-alcoholic specialty drinks. Highly recommended.

Best paella! - Edit
I LOVED the vegan paella here. I didn’t have that strong of an opinion about paella until I ate here. Now I think about it when it’s not around! Very cute patio, great service, great location.

Something delicious for everyone; dog-friendly! - Edit
We had a delicious lunch here last month, with a large range of options for everyone in our family, from the vegan to the vegetarians to the omnivore. (Vegetarian food here is delicious enough that there was no reason to even consider any meat.) Can’t remember what we ate, but the setting was beautiful: in addition to the indoor restaurant, they had an outdoor patio with colorful umbrellas, where they welcomed our dog and brought her a bowl of water.

Some vegan options - Edit
I had the papas bravas as a starter, they substituted with a vegan sauce. This was very good. For the main I had the vegetable paella - the dish is actually for about 3 people so it’s tricky if you are the only vegan in the group. It tasted okay, a little too citrusy for me but that’s personal preference.
