Vegan friendly - Edit
Their cilantro black bean burger and sweet potato fries are amazing! Get it as it comes and every time I go there. I allow myself honey now and then so the Brussels sprouts no cheese as an app are sooooo good! A treat for sure! Always too full to have tried their vegan milk shakes. Tried coconut ice cream taste once bc they know me, was very good.

Great vegan options but can get really busy - Edit
We were craving chicken nuggets after spending all day across the street at the convention center, and Bareburger's Impossible Nuggets definitely hit the spot! The vegan options are clearly labeled, and, at least if you order online from their site, they seem really considerate of dietary restrictions. It was really busy, and my pickup order was late—they even forgot to bring it out to me, as promised 🙃 but the staff was so nice and offered me a free drink for my patience, so I'm not bothered. Totally understandable as it seemed super hectic, but something to keep in mind if you're there on a busy night! The process for picking up an order is also a little unclear—you have to walk past all the tables all the way back to the kitchen area, it's a bit awkward if you've never been there before...or maybe that's just me!

Cons: Can get busy and have long wait times, Awkward pickup process

Vegan burgers but pricey - Edit
A group of friends and I went to bareburger for a second time. The first time was when they were just about the only restaurant in town to have the impossible burger. I had the mushroom impossible and a side of fries. While the burger itself was really good. Slim and crispy , it’s pretty small and pricey. 14.95 plus tax and tip.

Bar experience - Edit
My meal was delicious, I tried the black bean burger with sweet potato fries. The bartender also helped me pick a draft since I am not from the area and didn't recognize the breweries. The vibe was great and I would return

Our go-to for "burgers" - Edit
My favorite place to go to when I want a good "burger". Their menu has great options for me and my omni family to choose from. The taste is always consistent. And their vegan milkshakes and vegan carrot cake are two of my all-time favorites.

Just Okay, Convenience Factor High for Convention Center - Edit
We ordered carryout to eat outside the convention center while attending an event. We tried the Forager and the basic burger, with a side of fries/sweet potato fries.
Read moreThe value was NOT there for this restaurant. The burgers were pricey and small and didn't include a side. The flavors were just okay.
It was convenient for us attending a convention, but we wouldn't return. Too expensive and too small of portions, not tasty enough to justify the cost.
Pros: location to convention center
Cons: bad value, small portions, pricey

A must-go - Edit
LOTS of vegan options, would give five stars if I could (due to not being “fully vegan”). Had a burger and a milkshake for fair $$

Roomy venue - Edit
Bareburger is a chain offering burgers, with a bunch of vegan and gluten free options Some Bareburger venues seem to have too much of a meaty aroma. This place, however, was quite roomy, and a great place to hang out with omnivore friends.

So many vegan choices - Edit
We had good food and great service while visiting Bareburger! I had the Thai Chia quinoa burger and a vegan Chocolate Mint Cookies and Cream milkshake. Both were delicious.

Lots of veg burgers, not happy to see bison on the menu - Edit
Bareburger is conveniently located close to the convention center and North Market downtown. They have several vegan (and even more vegetarian) options for burgers. You can build your own custom burger with choice of bun, burger, and toppings or choose one of their options with pre-selected toppings on the menu. There is a dizzying array of choices! They also have onion rings, sweet potato fries, or regular fries as sides. I got an impossible burger, and it was way to big for me to finish... I couldn't even make it to the bottom of my container of fries. Everything was really tasty. They have a casual atmosphere and good music. I LOVE the bear decorations in Bareburger. It probably wasn't the healthiest meal, but I guess what can one expect from a burger and fry place? I would give them four stars, but it kind bums me out to see bison as one of the burger options on the menu. Gross.

Many Vegan Options - Edit
Pleasantly surprised. After the middling reviews, I decided to take a chance as it was close to my hotel and Columbus is 95 degrees on this visit. I'm glad I did.
Read moreThe staff was helpful and I decided to build my own burger.
Vegan cheese is the Field Roast Chao, my favorite kind.
Also welcome, they use Just Mayo on all their burgers. They just don't advertise the mayo is vegan to the carnivores.
Additionally they have a few vegan shakes that looked good, although on a hot day I opted for the lemonade.
I'd come back to this place anytime.
Pros: Numerous vegan patty options., Just Mayo. , Field Roast Chao cheese.

Waaaay to expensive - Edit
While the food is good, no burger is worth that price. The burgers don't even come with fries. They also have gross meats, like bison and lamb. This may be a good spot if you're at the convention center, but my suggestion is to go right behind that building and try one of the many great options at the North Market.

Three Vegan Burger Options! - Edit
Love that they have so many options for vegans! I’ve tried all of the burgers & enjoyed each one! They have vegan cheese & sauces also. They recently added vegan desserts too, such as coconut ice cream sundaes & milkshakes! Great spot to meet friends, near North Market.
