Ordered from the 'vegan' menu last night.Upon checking their website (which doesn't feature the vegan menu),the mini onion bhajis contain egg,and came with a yogurt raita.

Best Vegan Curry! - Edit
We were recommended Babul’s and we were not disappointed. Brilliantly cooked interesting vegan dishes (we got a selection of the ‘small plates’). Everything was differently spiced with some packing a real punch. Vegetables weren’t overcooked (crisp tenderstem etc).

Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Babul's, where we shared a mushroom Bhaji, chana bateta, charred baby baingain, vegetable dhansak and dopiaza curries, with garlic pilau rice and poppadoms. All of the dishes were very well spiced with great depth of flavour, with the charred baby baingain and both curry dishes, particularly impressive. Staff were attentive and friendly and ambience was nice. Would definitely recommend visiting and can't wait to return again.

We were delighted to discover that Babul’s has a vegan section of the menu with a wide range of small dishes.
