Fantastic little place with great food and great staff - Edit
Found this place using the HappyCow app and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We had excellent vegan food and great coffees, and the place has a nice relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Tried to give 5 stars but the app won’t let me because the place is not entirely vegan.

Little Gem! - Edit
Travelling through Barnard Castle to look at antique shops - decided to call in here ( unusually not through Happy Cow App as the stop was not really planned). Delighted to find they could make oat milk cappuccinos and even more delighted to see several vegan cakes. Service was very friendly and they recommended we sit next door in the bookshop which we did on a lovely comfy sofa. Coffee and vegan carrot cakes were brought into us and we had a lovely time chatting to locals and perusing the books. Great coffee and cake - good value and just all round delightful!

Coffee & Cake - Edit
Very welcoming cafe with good vegan options. The cafe is small so getting a table can be difficult, but luckily we managed to get the last table outside, where we shared a biscoff and banana cake and ginger cake. The ginger cake was deliciously moreish, but the biscoff and banana cake was going a little dry. Still tasty though. Special mention must also go to the coffee, which was absolutely superb. Would definitely visit again.

Amazing - Edit
I had the vegan falafel (which I normally don’t like) flatbread and it was so good. Plenty of options and staff are lovely. They also have a bookshop with some fab books.

Couple of options for lunch. We had a falafel flatbread, and a Mexican soup & 2x oat americanos. All were delicious. No vegan pies available although they did have a veggie pie.

Great for coffee and cake - Edit
This place is now called McNab’s. We stopped impromptu for some coffee and cake, and I got a beautiful squidgy and nicely spiced carrot cake 👌🏼

Now seems to be called McNabs? Very good coffee with oat milk, a couple of vegan cakes to choose from, had a tasty date and orange one. Lovely spot, sitting in the October sunshine.

lovely little cafe - Edit
We were in Barnard Castle for a weekend and it was a struggle to find somewhere to eat, so thank goodness for No 15! Had a very large vegan burrito, which wasn't the best I've had but certainly filled a hole and then some. Was quite sad not to have had space for the vegan chocolate cake they had on offer...
