Once upon a time, this building was a Getty Mart gas station. Then it became a restaurant and has maintained the same interior for a long time. This could be a fancier restaurant if they updated the interior, so much potential, and there is a warm stove in the lower part. I mostly come for takeout now, and the (new young) owners understand vegan needs. I love their arnibit and tahini sauce and babaganoush. They told me no hidden yogurt. Does not hurt to confirm. Someday I would love to get a spinach pie that was vegan. BYOB with no upcharge, which is nice. I love when they play the Arabian music.
The falafel was just, ok. I ordered the grape leaves and they were giant and had good flavor.
This place is a little overpriced and the ambiance is not great. But the food is not bad, but not the best.
I have to agree with you here - where it’s nice to have the option of some different flavors and spices however it’s not anything to really “wow” about, especially for its price point.
The “Super” Falafel wrap is out of this world! If you ask to get it while seated in the restaurant the owner or waitress will be very rude.
The owner has some irrational rule the he refuses to explain as do staff. You can order it for slightly cheaper on the menu when seated as lunch or dinner it will just be deconstructed on a plate.
It makes zero sense and keeps us from eating in which would make us spend much more money and tip the waitress’.
The food is incredible but the attitude isn’t lol. We call the owner the “falafel [censored]” because he acts like the “soup [censored]” on Seinfeld. It’s worth dealing with.
They actually cook everything there every day rather than using frozen restaurant food. The owners are familiar vegan food. You can't go wrong with the Vegan options since there are so many of them. In addition to all the Vegan items some of the vegetarian selection can also be made vegan by omitting the dairy. I loved Arnabit salad, Baba Ghannouj, Lobbies, Moujadara. The Rose lemonade was also worth the try.

Great - Edit
Great vegan options and fresh food. The atmosphere and look is a little shabby but food makes up for it.
