In doubts - Edit
Generally, the waiters understand what "vegan" means and there are a lot of options that are or can be made vegan. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. However, the leaf label in the menu stands for "vegan or vegetarian", and they only specify on one page that leaf=vegan, which make it confusing. I ordered "Mix it vegan", and when they brought it I found mayo in the dish, which was not mentioned in the description. Then I googled what small numbers "1, 3" right to the dish name meant, and found out that 3 stands for eggs, and it makes this whole white sauce really sus. So I probably would not trust them next time.
Read moreAnother thing to mention, something happened to the lights in the restaurant when I was there, they were flickering and turning off, and an electrician had to bother me at my table in order to reach some switch in the corner. I don't know if this is a common problem they have or not.

I choose the "Mix It Vegan" to take away. 14,20€ for a delicious and and abundant vegan variety of falafel, samosas, beans, rice, fries and coleslaw. It was late in the night and it saved my first night in Aachen.

Large and tastefull portions - Edit
The restaurant was full but in the evening it is also possible to go to Zaytouna café and order your meal over there. We had a fattoush salad to share and the vegan mix. The portions were Avery large and tastefull.

Best Lebanese restaurant in town - Edit
The place is always quit crowded, but rightly so. The wraps and samosas to take away and really delicious as are the platters you can order in the restaurant. The dishes 'Mix it vegan' and the vegan version of the messa plate were really outstanding, but the portions are definitely very large and fill you up to the top.

We agree with all the positive things already written about this place but not with the negative ones, e.g. our food was not cold when we got it. (Actually the best falafel I've ever eaten were in Damascus but these were pretty good.) Delicious food, generous portions, excellent value for money, friendly service, laid-back atmosphere, what more could one ask for?

This is a must go to place in Aachen because the vegan options are clearly labelled and really tasty. As it was my first time, I had the dish "Mix it Vegan" to try a bit of everything, which I can recommend if you are really hungry.

There were several clearly labeled vegan options. I ordered the falafel akl (which I was able to make gluten free upon request). The falafel wasn’t the best I have ever had, but it also wasn’t bad. The hummus was good though. I’d give this 3.5 stars (rounding up to 4).
