A hippy-ish buffet restaurant. The kitchen puts out plenty of trays of vegetarian mains (main vegan), sides, desserts, many fruits, drinks (teas, juices, access to a smoothie maker) and even kombucha. A lot of the food is Indonesian style with more variety than your typical warung. Serve own food buffet style, then leave the money in a jar on your table (it is pay as you feel with suggested prices) then wash own dishes. Everything in the place is recycled and it's more than likely people will be doing yoga or playing music around a fire. Previously located at Jalan Suweta 32. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-8:00pm.

Hidden vegan buffet down the alley way - Edit
Wonderful hidden vegan buffet down a little alleyway from what looks like the entrance to a cafe. Hard to find at first, but you can drive your motorbike into the entrance/alley or walk a tiny ways to place. The flavors are nice and moderate, and if you want to spice it up, their sambal is one of my favorites in Ubud, def on the hotter spicier side, but not unbearable. They have a variety of all vegan dishes, self serve, and “wash your own dishes”. The pricing is about 6k per item, white rice is 5k. One serving of tempeh, tofu, or corn cakes = 2 pieces just fyi. The staff is super welcoming and down to earth friendly. I did not try any of the drinks, but the food alone is worth finding this place. Great, local prices, and trustworthy for the belly!

Amazing - Edit
One of the best places I’ve eaten so far! I will be coming back often. The atmosphere is so special and unique, the food is incredibly tasty, fresh and delicious with amazing choices. Not too much oil but perfectly flavoured, and it’s cheap. Don’t think twice about coming here, you will not regret it!!! Also an awesome coffee joint attached to it which makes great coffee

Cheap and tasty - Edit
Nasi campur style buffet, most portions are about 5k each so very cheap (although it quickly adds up when you keep going back for more like we did!)
Read moreThe only thing is, you do have to be careful to check what's vegan and not all the staff new. None of the cakes were vegan.
Food was pretty tasty, they replace the food all the time but unfortunately we got there as most the trays were empty.
You wash plates and cutlery up yourself which is fine, but in general the restaurant (tables) etc needed a very good clean!
Otherwise it's a zen place to get some good, cheap food.
Pros: Cheap , Several options
Cons: Need to check if what's vegan as not labelled , Place is a bit dirty.

Good vibe, chilled, magical eatery. - Edit
Well worth a visit! Good vegan buffet. Wood fired vegan pizza is divine (non vegan options available) Great award winning coffee batista. Beautiful space so special and so magical! Open aired and covered areas. Good place to hang out and if you want to come meet interesting people or just sit and read a while.

Very spacious place - Edit
I'm not sure how some reviews below mention "pay what you want" or "recommend 50K"; there is a pricing system that is marked (pay according to how much you take).
Read moreThere are 2 locations for this place, apparently it is the same family? But the atmosphere is quite different for both. The other is called "9 Warung"
This one is very spacious, has much more seating, and have different atmospheres (cafe-style, dining area, outdoor garden).
I came in just before sunset, maybe that is an awkward hour - no one else was there, but the food seemed to be sitting out from earlier afternoon. Based on the setting (more outdoorsy), it feels more obviously neglected, like being at an outdoor picnic rather than a restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and friendly to have me there though.
Although, I couldn't even enjoy my food, because I got swarmed by aggressive mosquitoes like it was their first meal of the day (maybe it was!! Bit 14 times. I AM SUFFERING). So I had to finish up and get out of there ASAP. The staff had provided repellent for me, but it was too late, I was targeted the minute I sat down xD
Anyway, the food is okay, but not particularly special for me. Combined with the neglected candles, it was cold and not such an appetizing impression. I only noticed 2 desserts... either the time of day, or you have to hunt for it a bit more.
I don't think I would come back here, because:
- I live much closer to the other location
- No mosquitoes!
- Food is more attended-to, but also because it's much more limited
- Slightly cleaner (it's a smaller place) and the set-up allows it to be more free from ants and other insects
The price is similar, about 1K cheaper per item at the other location.
You could come here if:
- it's earlier / later, so the food is fresher
- you don't mind mosquitoes (or avoid active sunset hours)
- desire a wider selection

About 8 to 10 min walk off Main St, this restaurant offers the best value in town.

Tour groups should keep this one on their radar.
Pros: value pricing, fire pit, feels like a big semi-outdoor private space

Amazing food and lovely workers - Edit
Everything is vegan and delicious. Went here twice and the restaurant itself is amazing in terms of providing food for those in need. It’s a pile as much as you want on your plate and count how many scoops it was kind of place which makes it extremely cheap too.

Loved it all - Edit
This place was amazing! The vibe there is super chill with sooo many plants (bring mosquito repellent though) I could hang there for hours, such a tranquil escape from the business of Ubud streets. I love the concept of paying for your food with honestly cup in the middle. You just add up the amount of food you had and leave the momey when you leave. All foods tasted great. Unfortunately the cake wasn't vegan😒

Nice buffet with fresh food - Edit
The selection of food is pretty nice, and the food itself is really fresh - there is a new tray every hour or so. And the kombucha here is wonderful - very delicate, sparkling, well balanced and also cheap, one glass costs 5000.

Don't know what all the fuzz is about - Edit
I really don't know what the fuzz is about, I had very high expectations coming here, maybe that's partly why I didn't like it at all. I came here with my mom for lunch and the food was not good at all, we did not finish eating, maybe it was just on this particular day. The glass I used to drink water was so dirty that the water was yellow, I found it to be very unsanitary and a bit gross to be honest, and I know standards are not the same here.

This place is lovely, all the food tastes great and if you just pay what they recommend (50.000 per person), it's a really really cheap buffet lunch! Owner and staff are really friendly as well. Love the atmosphere.
