Wholesome food

Funky, hippy space (not so much downstairs) that would be good for events/drinks. We came here for lunch. We ordered minestrone soups, wedges & mixed salad. The food was really tasty, fresh and packed full of goodness. Only marked it down as the chef/staff in the hatch was not very friendly or welcoming and had to wait a while to be acknowledged and shown a menu. It seems that you could also order things off the menu as I could see others had breakfast foods but couldn’t see this on any menu

Warm welcome and great food

Ate here last night. Two glasses of wine, two main courses and two desserts for £40. Everything on the menu and wine list was vegan. My friend and I shared a pasta dish in a creamy sauce plus a salad with broccoli, courgette and hazelnuts. Both were really delicious. Finished with a decadent chocolate cake which was also gluten free and made without sugar but was as chocolatey, gooey and gorgeous a cake as I’ve had. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and charming staff. They were setting up for a late night event while we were there but it was still peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Best vegan food in the area

I came here for the brunch and everything was so delicious. Super tasty and great combinations of flavors. Not at all what you would expect from an all organic, locally sourced vegan and gluten-free place. Sweet spot to be when it’s raining and just eat all day...

Great cafe restaurant bar

Above the bus station and a simply and rustically furnished eaterie with a choice of amazing salads or a few hot dishes. Really nice vibe and staff. Lewes' first vegan establishment and a very welcome one. Highly recommended for lunch and weekend dinners.

Pros: Great food , Plenty of choice, Alcohol licence

Cons: Upstairs not sure about wheelchair access
