Serves meat, vegan options available. Usually a vegan soup daily, plus has salads and a few vegetarian dishes. Uses dairy. Open Tue-Sat 10:00am-8:30pm, Sun 10:00am-2:00pm.
Not a ton of vegan options, but their focaccia was good and I enjoyed the "Select" salad with figs and pears (minus the cheese) was pretty tasty. There aren't many things outside of salads that are going to be easily made vegan though. But a fair amount of things could be vegetarian.
The cafe is also part of an "art" store with the vibe of a j.crew cracker barrel on the beach. The stuff was fine but that was also the vibe of the people there. My partners both dressed in black (one was in shorts and a nice shirt and the other had on a similar outfit with a black lacy shrug. I didn't think they were particularly out of place but people would /not/ stop staring which was really uncomfortable. Obviously nothing against the staff here, but just keep that in mind if you go.
Zest is always packed at lunch, but is always great. Their homemade lemon tahini dressing is amazing. The little boutique helps pass the time waiting for a table.

Pros: Tasty salad, Great focaccia and hummus
Cons: atmosphere, smell of the art shop (very perfume-y), lack of vegan options

Sub-par food, horrible service - Edit
Skip it. Somewhat vegetarian friendly, but food isn't good and service is awful. So very many other vegetarian options within walking distance.
