Better pizza than the neighbors

Just got back from Italy 2 weeks ago and this pizza is on par. They have the big wood fired oven and the sauce is beautifully fresh and delicious. My new fav for New Haven

Pros: No waiting in line for a seat, Vegetarian options have a green leaf on the menu

Great atmosphere, friendliest staff - delicious

This place is one of the best. New Haven is famous for its pizza but don't sleep on this place. The owners of famous places like Sally's Pizza regularly can be seen dining here. The owners are so excited when people ask for the vegan pizza (their original marinara pie). As they say, "Americans always want more, cheese, more meat, more more more!" Their original, authentic Italian pie has no cheese and is SO GOOD. You can add veggies if you want.
Generous wine pour as well for those that drink. 10/10 love this place. Great date spot!

Pros: Warm, inviting staff, Delicious food

Cons: Not a ton of vegan options
