My favourite place in Taipei - Edit
Even though it is far from the city center, it worth to visit, and I go there at least once a month. Big portions, very delicious, southeast asian flavour. I especially like the curry and fried spring rolls, also can recommend the green papaya salad.

Yummy Veg Vietnamese food - Edit
Wow, so nice to have Vietnamese food with so many vegan options! Some of their menu items contain milk or eggs but there's lots of vegan items. We had a feast! Portion sizes are generous and the flavours are wonderful.

Really delicious! - Edit
The food was so fresh and flavourful! Generous portions, and very reasonably priced! Everything on the menu looked very tasty. I will most definitely return! They have a small grocery area where they sell different sauces and other products, including vegan fish sauce!

Even my carnivorous dad loved it - Edit
2020-08-05: The photo menu is bilingual and is helpful in identifying which menu items contain egg and dairy, but the ordering menu (all Chinese text) is not as reliable. You can safely rule out any item with 蛋 or 奶 in the name, but the 黃煎餅 is an example of an item that contains egg but doesn’t say so. Also, I wouldn’t recommend ordering the spring rolls and the dried rice vermicelli in one visit: they are basically the same ingredients presented in different ways. If you’re allergic to peanuts, please tell the staff not to use any when ordering: I didn’t realize they would automatically come on the papaya salad or the dried rice vermicelli.
Read more2019-06-04: Wow, I can’t gush enough about this place . Initially, I walked into the place next door and was crestfallen when I saw meat on the menu. But my dad pointed out that the place I was looking for was next door, so we abandoned the crazy line at the meaty, affiliated restaurant and came to this one. (I have to say that I wished there were a crazy line at this place so that I could have more hope in the world, but that’s too dark for this review.) Everything we ordered was so impressive and reasonably priced that I was already planning what I’d try the next time I get the opportunity to return. My dad is one of those people who doesn’t consider it a proper meal unless there’s meat involved, but he seemed quite happy with his pho. We also met a cute vegetarian couple from Portland, OR, that recently moved into the neighborhood.
Pros: Doesn’t sacrifice authenticity, Vegan options up the wazoo, Friendly staff
Cons: Non-vegan menu items are not obviously labeled

Great Vietnamese food - Edit
I've only eaten there twice, but the second time was a day after the first, because it was so good that I couldn't wait to go back. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
Read moreThe Fried Spring Rolls are delicious, and the Curry Rice is great (not spicy btw, but I like it that way).
They speak virtually no English, but they do have an English menu, however it's on the phone of a staff member. Not sure why they don't just print it.
It's located next to another Vietnamese restaurant, so make sure you go the right one (the one on the right, at #32). It's about a 10 minute walk from Shilin MRT.
I would definitely and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, it's one of my new favourites.
Pros: Great food, Affordable (but not cheap), Friendly staff
Cons: Staff doesn't speak English

It’s a wonder meal 很棒的越式素食料理 - Edit
I’ve never been ate any Vietnamese meal when I ate this meal first time, I can only say “Wow~ it’s amazing” and the chef is a Vietnamese and very kindly and smilely let me feel very comfortable. Btw they serve the dishes is very quick, I don’t have to wait for so long, the restaurant is also clear.
