Sooooo good!!! Don’t miss this place! - Edit
Oh how I wish I could give YO’ Mac & Cheese 5 stars! They have only one vegan dish (the Health Prez), but it’s so good (and so endlessly customizable) that I could eat it every day. Really. Really and truly. It’s that good.
Read moreThe pasta is perfectly cooked and the vegan cheese (faux-mage, geddit?) is melty and delicious. It typically comes with spinach and broccoli, but they were out of broccoli when we went, so I substituted mushrooms, and then I pimped it up with cherry tomatoes. Holy crap! Sheer heaven! Next time I’m adding fried onions on top, as my friend did, to create absolute perfection (especially if broccoli is available).
I wasn’t hungry when we went, so I ordered the “French size,” which I polished off in moments because it was just that tasty. It’s sufficiently large for all but the biggest of appetites; go for the “American size” only if you are absolutely famished. And yes, those names for small and large sizes are absolutely hilarious.
With vegan mac & cheese that delicious, this place deserves a 5-star review based on food alone. But wait; there’s more. Johann (hence the “YO” in the resto’s name) is a big hip-hop head, and he and his friends came up with some hilarious plays on words for the names of the various (vegetarian but not vegan) dishes: Notorious Brie.I.G., Mary J. Bleu, Tupac Chaource, Fifty Chèvre, Ol’ Dirty Cheddar, Eminemental, Cheddar Hill Gang, and (my favorite) Straight Outta Comptome (though it should have been Comtomme, of course).

Cons: More vegan options would be welcome, but since the, one vegan dish is endlessly customizable, it’s , like they have several vegan choices already.

Had the vegan mac&cheese (includes broccoli, spinach, and I added cherry tomatoes) and it was very good. You can have dinner there, order it online, or at the restaurant as take-out. I had the biggest size which in hindsight was a bit much, but since I enjoyed it so much I probably would've wanted more if I had the smaller portion.

Located in Paris 20, at 16 avenue Gambetta, just above the Père Lachaise cemetery, this brand offers a very famous American dish, Mac & Cheese, with several options for all tastes.

Open since February 2020, and despite the health crisis, this restaurant has managed to attract customers to this 14th century Italian dish well known in the USA.
This macaroni and cheese dish called mac & cheese is available here with Pipe Doppia Rigatura type pasta.
8 mac & cheese formulas are present including one 100% vegetable: Health Prez
2 sizes are available: French or American (for those who are very hungry)
Each formula can be personalized, or otherwise you can compose your own mac & chesse.
Menus, mac, drink and dessert or mac and drink are available.
All the recipes are also available in a gluten-free version!

So I took a personalized Health Prez (Pasta, homemade lactose-free sauce, faux mage, breadcrumbs with cherry tomatoes and pears, with spring onions). The salty sweet combination was perfect for this dish!
The first thing that catches the eye is decoration, street art, hiphop facade and interior decoration which immediately puts the customer in the mood.
The choice of menus is well thought out, it is very generous and quickly served!
In terms of drinks, sodas, ice tea, beers and coffee are available.
The homemade desserts are being reorganized in order to be able to offer vegan versions, depending on the clientele.
I particularly appreciated the welcome and the explanations on this concept and the different possibilities of this mythical dish.
In short, a good time to spend with friends to taste these different versions of Mac & chesse in a decor and music from the hiphop years.
