Great Vegan options - Edit
As a vegan food blogger, I typically prefer fully vegan restaurants for the ease and certainty they provide. However, this restaurant surprised me with its incredible range of vegan options, including a dedicated vegan tasting menu. The selection is thoughtful and diverse, making it a great choice for any plant-based diner.
Read morePersonally, I found the dim sum and appetizers to be the standout dishes—creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. While these were my favorites, I can confidently say the entire dining experience was truly remarkable. A must-visit for vegans and non-vegans alike!
Pros: Great vegan tasting menu, Great service, Night quality dining
Cons: Main dishes are not good as first and appetizers

Fancy vegan dim sum - Edit
Went here for my birthday as I wanted dim sum. As tasty as it was, I was hoping for simple traditional dim sum where as this seemed to be trying quite hard. The staff were lovely but it was quite expensive for what it was. I was very fully by the end and the tea was lovely

Mistake 😭 - Edit
Ordered the vegan tasting menu and was served a dish that I was told was the vegan green beans. While I was eating it, the waiter (who had been told I was vegan) asked if I was aware that the morning glory I was eating contained shrimp. They took the plate away to check with the chef, and returned with a different plate of vegetables (the green beans we had ordered). First, they told us that the food contained dried shrimp; then, they said that it was vegetarian but not vegan; then, they said that it was vegetarian but could also be described as vegan (the implication being that this was the same thing…). Then, they decided that the initial dish had been vegan, but was just the wrong item, and gave quite a convoluted and unconvincing explanation as to how this occurred; apparently each vegetable dish can be made with three different kinds of sauce (some of which are vegan and others are not). To be totally honest, I’m still not certain that this was correct, because the menu said that the morning glory contained dried shrimp and made no reference to the fact that the sauces can apparently be substituted, and the sauces on the morning glory and green beans definitely tasted different.
Read moreThe food (when it was food and not animals) was absolutely delicious and they were very apologetic, but the mistake was obviously upsetting — and I’m still not sure that the food didn’t have shrimp in (which would mean that an animal died even though I ordered something vegan. Argh.). Hopefully this will encourage the restaurant to be more careful, because it was a lovely meal aside from that — really good vegan dim sum and lots of choice and variety.
I would definitely recommend it for the brilliant food, but only insofar as I’d recommend anywhere that serves meat and/or fish; I guess there’s always a risk of mistakes like this 😭

Yummy vegan food- lots of options - Edit
Absolutely loved the food at Yauatcha in Soho, London. They had lots of vegan options but I was too full to try the others. Best vegan dimsums for sure. Cocktails were lush too, great for a nice date night. The dessert was so good too.

Waste of money - Edit
We tried the £60 per person vegan banquet and it was really disappointing.
Read moreThe dim sum was mixed - some delicious but some really bland. Only 5 pieces though.
The mains were just lazy though - bland vegies and a very small stir fried tofu. Compared the the impressive meat-based dishes others were getting it’s pretty clear they chef has no interest in doing anything good for vegans.
There’s literally better/tastier vegan options at Pret down the street (though admittedly the ambiance is slighter better st Yauacha).
Ever the cocktail I ordered was terrible - so sweet I could hardly drink it.
