Kombucha De-Flowering - Edit
Before ambling into this place, I was a kombucha virgin. I had long wanted to try it, but somehow never managed to get around to it. The venue itself is extremely petite, but has plenty of outside seating and is very tasteful decked out inside.
Read moreAs I was very much a novice in terms of what to order, the gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful in recommending some go to flavours for my first experience. I took his advice and went for the cherry and the elderflower flavours, as well as adding mango passionfruit to the mix as it sounded appealing. Obviously I had zero expectations as to what I would get so I was delighted to find that I really enjoyed all three; they had qualities of wine or beer, minus the alcohol. I would say that my order of preference for what I had would be as they are written, from agreeable to most enjoyable.

Do you know if they ferment with sugar? So hard to get decent kombucha in the UAE because I’m not sure they’re allowed to ferment with sugar due to the minuscule amount of alcohol it creates 🙈
