Lovely local place to eat

Really nice local place to eat vegan! Daily menu for 18 to 23. Really cheap for what you get and the owner is very friendly! Location is different. Its in the local market so I will change will take some days in Happycow!

Go show them some love

They are open Tuesday-Friday from about 1pm onwards at the market building (2nd floor), and Sunday he cooks from his house (which is the address shown in the app).
We went here a couple times for lunch, and the owner is lovely, large tasty portions, and only 18 bs/person. Mostly vegan, unless you specify cheese.

A Vegan Gem in Samaipata!

By Samaipata standards, Yaku is a bit of a walk (about 5 blocks in total!) from the main square, and has moved from its former location near to the fruit and vegetable market (it's now about four blocks to the west along Calle Arenales). But it's certainly worth the short walk to get there!

The daily set menu will provide a delicious three course meal (soup, salad and main course) for an absolute bargain...we paid just 18 Bolivianos for a mouth-watering quinoa soup (the best we've had in Bolivia), a fresh and satisfying salad and then a curried lentil and vegetable stew with rice. We have healthy appetites, and yet still battled to finish so much delicious food. Our chef/host was very hospitable and spoke excellent English, and there's an indoor area to eat on those cold winter nights when the pretty outdoor seating area is just a bit too chilly. Friendly dogs and a kitty there too (but then, that's pretty standard in Samaipata, where the four-legged locals are as friendly and welcoming as the two-legged ones)!

Pros: Bargain price, Delicious taste with fresh ingredients, Friendly host

Cons: Uncertain hours: it may be open, it may not!
