Amazing risotto - Edit
We came here with four people and we were all satisfied, however the risotto with tomato was on a different level. Really good!

Just lovely - Edit
Friendly staff, clean and homely interior and a godly risotto. They seem to have access to vegan products that were not anywhere else to be found in Bolivia. Highly recommended!

Cheap vegan food! - Edit
Samaipata is great for vegan food but cafe tango is a little gem. Vegan empanadas, nachos, curry, hot chocolates, coffee etc! So great and super cheap. Would highly recommend to other vegan travellers.

Read moreMalheureusement nous avons eu plusieurs déceptions : - jus trop coupés à l'eau ;
- double expresso très léger et une fois sur deux servi en version simple pour le prix du double ;

Perfect for lunch or coffee - Edit
This small bazaar of a place has a friendly vibe and prices that indicate a warm intention. A coffee and a large vegetable curry empanada for example is cheaper than other places in town for just a simple coffee. The menu is extensive, a range of teas, super juices, pure organic hot chocolate, breakfasts from 18bs, snacks and cakes, chapatis, currys and even gazpacho. A range of vegetable milks are available including sesame. We felt the love and left content, the owner Sol has nailed it.

cozy little place with great cake - Edit
We almost walked past the very small cafe. English-speaking staff could tell us all about what was vegan and what not. Had a tasty empenada and a delicious (incredibly sweet) piece of cake.

We spent more than 4 hours here - Edit
What a lovely and colourful place! Many vegan options and something which is not marked vegan, can be made freshly with for example banana as the egg replacer. There are many lunch options and green smoothies. They even have vegan yoghurt with chia and flax seeds. The people that work here are really kind. It's in 'Arce' street, next to plaza principal. The house number is not very obvious, but the house is so colourful that it is impossible to miss :). Definitely go here!

Healthy, tasty, cheap! - Edit
Very friendly service, very welcome health food in a little town like Samaipata. Open 7 days a week. Also sells wholegrain bread in case you want to make your own healthy sandwich.
Read moreThere are no street numbers here: if you are walking in calle Arce on the mainplaza (with the church in your back), continue 50m after leaving the mainplaza and there it is.
