Decadent vege option in Nanjing

If you don't mind spending some $$$, Wujie is a great vege option in Nanjing. The meals aren't huge but they certainly are delicious and creative. It was great to have so many options.

One downside was that the waitress gave us an introduction to the menu that took about 20 minutes! Would have been better if she just picked a few key dishes to explain or promote. All in all a nice night out and a meal to remember. It cost about $70AUD all up for two people.

Pros: Amazing inventive food , Decor

Cons: Service , Price

Delicious food

WuJie is an elegant vegetarian restaurant located inside a posh shopping centre. It's quite expensive, however the food is delicious. The restaurant seemed very busy, but the staff was very attentive towards me (even a bit too attentive for my liking haha). They could speak English. I ordered a dish with tofu, mushrooms and beans (asked for it without the chillis) and some rice for takeaway and I really loved it. I will definitely be back.

Pros: Great food, nice service

Cons: Expensive

Excellent Vegetarian

It is a vegetarian restaurant with vegan options. each plate indicate the ingredients, which is very helpful for non Chinese speakers. Staff nice and helpful! Highly recommended, it could be a bit price, but quality is good.

nice spot, pricey for China.

Had a nice meal there. The atmosphere is nice. You order from an iPad, and an English-speaking waitress worked my table. (Not fluent, but spoke enough to get by). The food was good, and it was nice/worth it to go to a vegetarian place and be assured it's truly vegetarian food... but did feel pricey for what it was. Sautéed greens for 48RMB, tofu and mushroom dish for 88RMB, and bowl of rice for 10RMB. Total 146RMB, about $25, which is about L.A. prices for a meal like that. I had been eating at other places around the mall with a Chinese speaking friend who can really grill the waiters about choosing vegetarian dishes: and between the two of us and more food per person, we were paying less than that total. Felt worth it for a nice solo dinner, and besides, my lunch had been 3 vegetable buns from a store on the street, 青菜包, at 1.2RMB each, so about $0.20 each?!

Pros: Nice to feel assured it's all vegetarian, as o, yummy, nice space

Cons: the sign is in Chinese, so at first it was hard to, pricey for China, but could be worth it to you.

Delicious food and good quality

Very nice place. Big variety of dishes. Menu is also has English and very well specified what contains egg, milk, spicy, onion or garlic, etc. The dishes go to the table very quickly. Nice staff working there. Pretty expensive, but beautiful decoration, nice atmosphere, delicious food and good quality.

Nice place

It is on the 6th floor of Deji 2. The place is nice, with high quality food and original dishes. Price of one dish is between 70Y to 120Y. So it is not cheap, but definitely worth the money. I recommend it.
