Lots of choice and variety - Edit
Dedicated vegan menu, with lots of options. Good service and good portion sizes. Not the cheapest but is an elevated experience compared to the average Cumbrian pan Asian restaurant. Definitely worth a visit!

Loads of vegan options - Edit
The dedicated vegan menu makes ordering really easy and there is loads of choice. The menu is updated from time to time so will be different from the photo here. Lovely food and very friendly staff.

Some of the best tofu I've had - Edit
After asking about vegan options, I was provided with a separate vegan menu. My partner and I ordered the dragon fries, "chicken" gyozas, Korean BBQ boa buns, and the salt n pepper tofu, which is some of the best tofu we have ever had. This was plenty to share between the two of us. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Would recommend and will visit again.

A bit disappointing - Edit
This place has recently opened and a browse of the Facebook page indicated that they had a selection of vegan options. We’d heard good things from our omni friends, so thought we’d give it a try. The staff were friendly and relatively attentive (although they did try and serve us some crab when we made it clear that we were just ordering vegan dishes…). We ordered every vegan dish available, which amounted to about enough food for 2 people for dinner. It was a bit hit and miss really, the portion size of the edamame beans was great (i.e. loads), and they were tasty. The gyozas were nice, although 4 for £8 felt a little steep (and despite being marked up as vegan they came with a soy sauce and honey dressing… so make sure you clarify no honey if that’s something you care about!) I wouldn’t recommend the noodles - very bland broth, with big chunks or red and yellow peppers and courgette in. Drinks were good - we had cocktails and wine. The toilets could do with a clean out and better signposting.
Read moreI’m inclined to give this place the benefit of the doubt for now - it has only just opened. But I won’t be rushing back.
Pros: Well-marked vegan options , Friendly + accommodating staff, A nice change from the pubs and Italians in Ulvy
Cons: Not the best value for money, Some dishes a bit bland, Toilets in a bit of a state

Hi John,
Read moreThank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
From your feedback we have taken this on board and have now created a completely separate plant based menu with vegan alternatives to our best selling dishes. If you drop us an email we would love to invite you back complimentary, and get your feedback on the new menu!
Kind regards
