The staff know which beers are vegan, usually without looking it up, which is very unusual.

Staff were willing to check kegs to find out allergens and the fries are accessible so you can check the labels yourself (which for me is a huge plus). As a lover of stouts it was great to be able to try multiple which were vegan.

Tasty and well portioned - Edit
Having spent the previous few days hiking across the Lake District this place was a welcome carb-refuelling find. The freshly made, decent sized, vegan cheese topped mushroom pizza filled a hole whilst my legs rested and brain reconnected to reality. Definitely a place for micro brewery beer fans and socialising (both things i don’t particularly care for) I could still appreciate this place and it’s friendly hospitable staff. I was pleased to see locals of all ages frequenting an independent business like this for both the food and the booze and the chill atmosphere.

A must visit - Edit
After a quick scan of Ulverston, I ended up here and it was the right choice. Lovely bar just off the market place, friendly staff, nice beer, lovely pizza.
