Serves meat, veg options available. Hotel which offers a vegan package including a vegan corner for breakfast (bread, spreads, butter, soy milk, yogurt, cereals, fruit salad, cakes, juices, fruits and vegetables) and a five courses vegan lunch (e.g. soup, strudel, dumplings, pasta, lasagna, casseroles, strudel, baked vegetables, curries, cakes, cremes, ice-cream).
You can go to the restaurant and have a vegan lunch or dinner without being a hotel guest. If you want something special, call in advance. If you go there without calling in advance, just ask the owner (he is the chief cook) what he can offer you that is vegan. He's really helpful and loves cooking vegan. Food is regional and seasonal.

Das Personal ist super aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Upper class dining - Edit
I especially choose this place because it said on all platforms that it was not pricy. Unfortunately that was not true.
Read moreDue to Covid they had a menu with a few items on display. The waitress was very nice and offered 3 vegan options for me, that haven't been displayed on the menu. The cover was not displayed on the menu and was not mentioned to us. 3,6€ is a little bit pricy for a cover. We got bread and two spreads (one vegan) for the table.
The food was really good. but I couldn't choose a vegan starter so I just had very excellent ravioli. For dessert the only vegan option was sorbet (It was cold outside, so I didn't take any).
A really nice restaurant and as far as the internet platforms display the only restaurant that offers vegan options in Bad Goisern, so it is unfortunate that it is soo pricy. I paid nearly 20€ for just my meal (excluding drinks and cover)
Pros: high quality in food , high quality in service
Cons: Really pricy , not a lot of vegan options

Really good food but not listed on the menu - Edit
After reading on the homepage of the hotel I was sure to check this place out. When I reserved a table I said that I am vegan, just to make sure they have something for me.
Read moreI am not sure if they had something prepares for me- but I could choose between 2 main dishes, one soup and a vegan starter. The normal menu had nothing vegan on it and the waitress read it for me from a paper like the specials. The table next to us wasn't offered the vegan choices, so I guess people that are not aware about the vegan choices just stick to the regular meatbased menu which is really sad. They really have very good tasting vegan options (the chestnut soup was incredible! ) so they shouldn't treat it as a secret club . I would give them 4 stars for the taste (which is the highest in veg options) but I give them only 3 because they don't promote vegan dishes at all.

Perfect stay - Edit
I stayed at the Goiserer Muehle for one week and I think I was the first vegan guest there. The owner was great and tried lots of different vegan dishes during my stay. The vegan breakfast corner was way more than I had aspected and with a wide variety. In the evening I had to eat a lot, as I wanted to try every vegan dish offered at the buffet. There were at least two vegan main courses and two vegan deserts every evening. Of course there was also a salad bar and one vegan soup. The cook did a great job and it was more a eating holiday then a climbing Holiday. It was one of the best vegan food I've ever tried since I'm vegan and it was the best food during holidays I ever got so far

Amazing Unique Vegan - Edit
Had a delicious vegan meal here while visiting nearby Hallstatt. It was extremely unique and tasty food with ingredients cooked in ways I've never had such as pickled pumpkin. They have a fixed priced vegan menu with options for 3-5 courses, I had 3 courses for about $40 and it was well worth it. Lots of beautiful and delicous food.
