Almost totally plant based! - Edit
Great selection of sandwiches, cakes, kids mains and a couple of hot options. Some non-vegan ice-cream and maybe Bailey's (if you were hoping to get sloppy at a zoo cafe).

Disappointing - Edit
Upon seeing other reviews I was quite excited to try out the cafe. Unfortunately there was very limited choice, a single option for hot food and limited cold food options - including a meat chicken wrap. Very disappointing considering I was under the impression until recently this place was fully vegan.

Disappointing - Edit
Very limited menu, they’ve only got sandwiches and a salad in the fridge and the cheeseburger is the only hot food available. No longer fully vegan/vegetarian as they had a chicken wrap and extremely overpriced for what it is.

Not fully vegan - Edit
Disappointed to see that they had non-vegan treats available as well as cows milk available to buy for your coffee. Bit ironic for a sanctuary.
Read moreStill plenty of vegan options and the food menu is fully vegan. Had a chickpea ‘tuna’ baguette which was tasty but expensive.
Pros: Fully vegan food menu, Tasty
Cons: Expensive, Served cow milk despite being marked fully vegan

Lovely sanctuary with fully vegan cafe - Edit
A really nice place to visit, and for a very good cause. The cafe is fully vegan with plenty of options. It can get very busy though

They have cow's milk so technically it isn't fully vegan.

Wild heart sanctuary cafe - Edit
Sweet little vegan cafe part of sanctuary, great home cooked food and good value. They have a great children’s play area as part of cafe and lots of high chairs too. Need to pay for parking

Delightfully vegan - Edit
Really pleased to see that the options were all vegan. Only wanted chips for a light lunch but really enjoyed them. Nice to see the animals enjoying themselves through the window too!

Lovely food and staff - Edit
We made a family visit to see the rescue animals at tge Sanctuary. It was a happy surprise that the cafe has the same ethics. They said they had become fully vegan in the past couple of weeks and that visitors were loving it.
