Pleasantly Surprised

This is a bit of an unusual place. It’s half game tables and arcade, and the other half is bar and booths. They have a decent amount of vegan and veggie options for a venue like this! Other similar places I’ve been to over the years you may be lucky if they offer one measly vegan burger on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised by their menu here.

I got to try two vegan dishes, though they have several more available. The first was their Portobello burger (without cheese). Usually Portobello burgers are right up my alley, but this one was a miss for me. I didn’t like the sauce, weird pickles, or how they chopped up the lettuce. I would have given them 3 stars for this, however…

The Brewhouse Banh Mi Carrot Dog was 🔥! I’ve never had anything like it, and I absolutely loved it. The carrot dog works, and the flavors are fresh and bright. I’d definitely order it again in a heartbeat! Give it a try, and if you don’t like heat, just ask for no jalapeños.

EDIT: I almost forgot, we also tried their vegan apple crisp for dessert. It’s the only vegan dessert option on the menu. It would have been very good, except whoever made it left the tough apple skins on, which ruined the dish for us.

Pros: Decent veg selection on the menu, Friendly Staff, Outstanding Brewhouse Banh Mi Carrot Dog

Cons: Most of the menu not veg, Portobello burger not good, Apple skins left in the apple crisp not good

Very limited vegan options

The venue is super fun, video games, pinball, etc. However, the vegan food was a bit underwhelming and overly spicey.
We had the carrot dog and the chimi chorizo sandwich. Sides were chips and some thick curly fries. I'm afraid the curly fries were tough and cold.
That being said, there is a little food here for vegans to eat, but they no longer have Impossible meat choices and I think that's a big mistake.
Tell your meat friends and familyto come here as they will have a great time.

Pros: Games and pinball, Unlimited soda and ice tea

Love!

Wildfields is so amazing. They are a friendly atmosphere and have a few vegan options but can substitute/take off things as well. Very accommodating. ☺️ I love that you can enjoy yourself and also not worry about having to be timed at your table. If you have kids, there’s an entire play area and there’s options for food and beverages for literally everyone. The atmosphere is just phenomenal. It’s a plus that it’s by the movie theater, too! #Veganuary

Love the vegan options and the people who work here!

Seriously every time I’ve been here I’ve had such great experiences, every one is so nice and their food is awesome. They have a vegan platter, a carrot dog banh mi, a chimchurri soyrizo sandwich, a spicy soyrizo burger, and a hearty bean & veggie salad. Also, their potato salad & pasta salad are both vegan, and there is even a vegan apple crisp for dessert. Very appreciative for a brewery to have solid vegan options on the Central Coast. The beer is great, by the way.
