Good Choices, Just Okay Food. - Edit
Located in Liverpool Cathedral The Welsford Bistro certainly makes for a unique dining experience. When I visited the cafe was extremely busy and the queue to order was long and slow. However, upon ordering the food, it was very quick to arrive.

Vegan dishes included Vegan Breakfast, Open Falafel Flatbread, Falafel Salad, Moving Mountain Burger, Blind Scouse and Falafel and Chilli Jam Sandwich. I went for the Blind Scouse, which was served with Pickleled Cabbage and Homemade Bread, as it was something different and unique to Liverpool.
The dish was a decent portion, but the bread was dry and hard, and the stew could have done with more seasoning. The two sides of chips we ordered for the table could also have done with some salt after frying. Overall, I think The Welsford Bistro has made a good effort when considering vegan diners, and their location is very convenient for customers visiting the cathedral. However, there are many vegan and vegetarian eateries within 15 minutes of the cathedral, so some fellow vegans visiting the cathedral may prefer to venture further afield!
