We called the owner before heading over to the restaurant to review vegan options. He was extremely helpful.
Read moreIn addition to the cauliflower tacos and the huge, packed golden beet salad, the owner steered us to a fried Samosa burger. The burger was not listed on the menu, but something offered as an added vegan option. The burger was essentially the whipped, seasoned potato filling of a Samosa, but pan fried. It was served up with delicious bread and amazing fries. The fries were neither greasy nor salty
We ordered a half order of the golden beet salad, and it was huge and delicious with a delicate salad dressing and lots of crunchy pistachios. The cauliflower tacos were in wonderful soft shells.
This destination offers a needed departure from the casual, grunge fare offered at the other tourist eateries, catering to hikers and other sports enthusiasts.
Service is done by ordering at the counter and the servers bring your orders to your table.
The place fills up pretty quickly. There are no desserts offered on the menu.
