use extreme caution if vegan/vegetarian - Edit
they had vegan sausage patties and our table got two orders of them. the waitress comes out with two very different looking patties. she paused a bit and asked "did you guys order one vegan sausage and one real sausage?". we said "no, both vegan" and she paused before saying "okay, great!" and set down the plates on our table. We asked her if they were both vegan and she pretended to check with the kitchen (walked ~5 feet away, waved to the kitchen, and then came back) - and assured us again they were both vegan. We had a meat eating friend at the table who confirmed to us after trying both that one was vegan and one was actual meat :(
Read moreI got a vegetable panini sandwich ordered without cheese and without mayo, to make it vegan. noticed that the sandwich had some mayo around an edge / on the bottom, likely from sharing the panini press with another sandwich at the same time or just from not cleaning it.
personally, i will never go back. it is nice that they are trying to make it accessible for vegans/vegetarians with menu items, but it seems that the kitchen/waitstaff either do not care or do not understand.

Vegan breakfast - Edit
The tofu scrambler for breakfast is decent. The tofu isn't actually scrambled, it's in chunks with some potatoes and spinach. They have oat milk for lattes also.

Happening Place for Breakfast - Edit
Got the tofu scramble and breakfast potatoes. Scramble was not really a scramble as much as tofu chunks cooked up with veggies. There is a breakfast burrito that can be made vegan and a vegan juice bar in the upstairs level. Beautiful stained glass church windows and good people watching. Line was out the door waiting for a table — we just got lucky.

Cozy Cafe with Vegan Options - Edit
Staff has always been willing to help me find vegan options. Can sub tofu in any salad, or replace any cheese/mayo in sandwiches with hummus. Have almond, soy, and coconut milk too😄

I Need to Try Again - Edit
Went there for a quick breakfast before a 700 mile motorcycle ride. Well it was not quick at all. The waitresses were running around like crazy and were not really able to attend to anyone. Both were super-friendly and apologized to me and whomever else that they were short staffed. Though not the waitresses fault this made for a less than pleasant experience as I was in a bit of a rush.
Read moreBut more importantly, the food: Ordered the tofu scramble and it was essentially a few pieces of large cubes of tofu with minimum spices cooked with their hash browns. Though not bad, it was also not very good. They served it with some homemade salsa that I mixed in with some hot sauce and it was okay at best. I should add the salsa was very good imo.
Everyone seemed to know everyone there, the waitstaff was super friendly, so though I did not have the best experience I will go back there for lunch next time I am climbing in the New. I want to give them another chance.
Pros: Very Friendly Staff
Cons: Short staffed made them less attentive., Breakfast was dry and bland

Love this spot - Edit
Their vegan sandwich with mushrooms, peppers, and zucchini is so good (order without cheese.) They will substitute your cheese for hummus or guac no upcharge. Their tofu scramble for breakfast is awesome too.

good food, friendly staff, not many options - Edit
The vegan/Vegetarian options are slim, but the staff was friendly and willing to work with us. Sandwiches can be made to order, so we made our own Frankenstein sandwich. The prices are decent and the aesthetic of the cafe is nice. There is a juice bar upstairs that has vegan smoothies and juices and vegan baked goods as well.

wonderful! - Edit
Fabulous place to eat... food is always made w fresh, high-quality ingredients. It is possible to choose from several vegan dishes by removing cheese and asking for extra veggies of choice. I get stir fried veggies w a side of salsa, soy sauce, and whole wheat bread (not on the menu) -- love it. I also love their vegetarian sandwich (switch cheese out for extra portabellos). Their tofu scrambler (served until 11:00am) is wonderful... ask for soy sauce on the side.
