Yummy!

This pop up street food van was the perfect accompaniment to Mousehole Carnival. We had skin on fries loaded with bbq jackfruit, red cabbage, chillies, ‘cheese’ etc. and a classic burger. Very yummy and reasonably priced.

Pros: Good portions, Great street food grub

Disappointing

The portions was small, the food cold, dry and tasteless. Not good value for money at all for street food. Disappointed and wouldn’t recommend sorry. #Veganuary

Pros: None

Cons: Expensive and Small portion, Dry, Tasteless

AWESOME vegan gem!

My family and I come to Cornwall almost every year. This is the first year that we heard about the Vood Truck (thanks to happy cow). On the night we visited, it was burger night, so we ordered a few classic burgers (meat patty with mustard, ketchup, red onion, gherkins, vegan cheese and lettuce) with chips and some of their dirty burgers (meat patty, chilli con carne, vegan cheese, lettuce, sweet corn) were all insanely delicious and extremely filling! Not greasy at all. The staff were so lovely as well. 100% recommended!

Pros: Staff were friendly and knowledgable, Food was delicious and not greasy, Completely vegan menu

Agreed to put their current times are Tues and Thurs 5.00pm until 8.00pm at the Apple Tree Cafe TR19 7AQ.
The Apple Tree Cafe is also practically vegan (but milk option for coffee and an egg option on a breakfast). The times are Weds to Mon 10.00am to 4.00pm all year except Jan and part Feb.
Their phone no is 01736 872 753.
They are awaiting Happy Cow to be updated.

10 mins walk to Lands End - but free parking on the road - so you can save £7.50

Simply the Best

The 'home' of Vood is Sennen Cove during the 'season'. However, you can catch Vood elsewhere at festivals and gatherings. Check Vood Bar FaceBook for up to date info.
It is WELL WORTH planning your holiday around Vood's opening times. It will be the highlight. Every item on the menu has to be eaten (I believe one person did once order one of everything!) but it us probably safer to undertake a number of visits (which is a win for locals!) I was obsessed with the Tofish and chips, but I am currently on the aleburger. I can recomend the breakfast bap too! I once ordered two because of some excess wine the night before but I felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable for the rest of the day (delicious but just too much!) If you are in mixed company (non vegans), I can guarantee they will also love the food. GF also well catered for.
Keep your eyes peeled for the occasional sit down pop ups that they do. I had the best vegan roast ever and then slept for 4 hours afterwards!
Just do Vood!

Pros: Extremely tasty well cooked food, A brilliant understanding of what vegans want, Non vegans will also LOVE the food

Cons: None

Great vegan food in a wonderful spot.

Stopped here for lunch recently, everything was vegan and very tasty. No seating, but a nearby bench and lots of low wall to sit on and look at the spectacular view.

There are so few genuine Vegan outlets in Penwith, this is a very welcome addition!

Pros: 100% vegan, Fantastic location, Excellent quality

Awesome food!!!!

Yes!! Voods great and we were really glad we managed to make it to Sennen cove to try it. I had the all day Brekki Bap which was lush, and my boyf had the burger. They do seitan which is really nice and bacon style rashers, probs the best I've ever had!! Service was great too, try not to miss out on this! Also serve vegan ice cream too which is a PLUS

Pros: 100% vegan and wonderful food, Awesome service, Affordable

The only vegan around

At least that I could find, and how lucky I was since it’s well worth the effort going there. Just don’t follow the google maps directions because you’ll end up lost on top of a hill (with breathtaking views, so it’s ok). I tried the burger, crunchy wrap and ice cream. The owners are very nice and they’re doing a great job. Go visit them!!

Great “fush” and chips!

We popped down when we were in Sennen and were overjoyed the van was open. I had a yummy breakfast bap with smokey seitan and scrambled tofu whilst the OH had the “fish” and chips.
Both meals were delicious with the chips and batter being especially crunchy!
Card payments as well

Outstanding!

Whilst visiting Cornwall on holiday from York, found this little gem and travelled across Penzance just to support them! Delicious and huge range of 100% Vegan food, with super friendly welcome and good conversation. Only down side is I can't visit more often!! =)

Very tasty!

The menu was quite limited, however everything we tried was great, particularly the "chicken" satay wrap! The wrap was £6 and a box of sweet potato fries with vegan cheese was only £3.50. Good selection of condiments. Well worth a visit!

Pros: Good value, Fresh and tasty

Cons: Not many options
