Great vegan food - Edit
Now serving a fully plant-based menu and appearing to be run by same people as Orange in Mousehole. We had a great lunch of loaded fries, a sausage and cheese sandwich, and delicious cakes. Nice inside and extensive outdoor seating for when the weather is good.

We visited on 26th July 2024 and they had just reopened for the summer. We had full breakfasts which were gorgeous and the service was sooo lovely! They are defo 100% vegan, so this listing needs amending.

We couldn’t believe our luck finding the Apple Tree whilst visiting Sennen. A fully vegan cafe in a beautiful location. The staff are exceptional and the menu is fabulous (we were spoilt for choice!). Amazing portion sizes & such great value for money. Definitely the best vegan food we had while on our holiday & will return again in the future!

Fantastic place! - Edit
The chai latte was so good! All the food I tried was delicious and I especially enjoyed the hot cross bun which I took with me for sustenance on the coastal path! All of the staff were great and gave me some very handy tips on walking routes. This place is a gem and could be even better once they stop serving cow's milk.

Amazing vegan choices. Would give 5 stars if allowed to! - Edit
Choice was amazing for vegans...over a dozen choices or options for lunch. Really great quality food ... Best we've had in Cornwall. Cafe depends on local trade too, so difficult to be 100% vegan, especially off season. The owner was very friendly and took the time to speak to us. Staff and service very friendly.

A little gem near Land's End. - Edit
Wow, I had a gorgeous vegan breakfast here and carrot cake. The staff are so helpful when you ask about the vegan options. I spoke to the owner who is hoping to put a vegan cream tea on the menu soon. I will certainly be going back to taste that. A must for vegan/plant based friends when you visit Cornwall and Land's End.

What a great find and a lovely surprise! - Edit
Lovely cafe with great garden. Delicious vegan options, Coronation chickpea sandwich with salad garnish and 'chuna' chickpea tuna sandwich, amazing to have at least two choices of sandwich, good chips, great coffee with oat milk option! Dog friendly and welcoming staff. They have only been running the cafe for ten days and hope to add more vegan options to the menu, although there was already a good choice! Will definitely be back when visiting Cornwall again! Can't recommend enough.

After many years of going here, good news! It is now under vegan ownership and the owner will be introducing many new vegan offerings. Already 4 vegan burgers on the specials board today, there are vegan sandwiches including chuna and vegan breakfasts. Watch this space for even more to come..

Deffo Vegan Friendly. Good food, lovely decor / gardens - Edit
Whilst on a recent Roadtrip around Cornwall in my VDub Campervan I called in here for some vegan nosh. Almost gave it a miss due to a negative review left by another user here who mentioned that it is "no longer vegan friendly". I decided to call them and investigate this claim and was pleased to here that although the new management did remove some of the vegan options that most are now back on the menu.
Read moreI was greeted by friendly staff, well presented food (I went for the Falafel with hummus on Pitta with salad), eaten outside in the lovely gardens and washed down with a cuppa tea made with Soy Milk. They even do a full vegan brekkie which looks great and will be on my plate next time I visit.
Slightly pricey but not too bad. When considering this is way down in the West Country near Lands End is nice to see vegan foods being served at all. The fact there are multiple options, tasted great, well presented and in nice surroundings I think a couple of quid above average is more than acceptable.
Would like to emphasise that it is deffo still "vegan friendly". Would recommend and will visit again next time I'm in the area.
Pros: Several Vegan Options, Great Location
Cons: Slightly Above Average Prices

Perfect Stop Off - Edit
Myself and my girlfriend recently went to the Apple Tree Cafe after reading a recommendation from a vegan Cornwall blog online. The Apple Tree Cafe is a perfect stop off for lunch or a tea or a coffee and especially if you are on your way to Lands End like we were, as its simply a 5 minute drive away. There are plenty of vegan and gluten free options available all of which are clearly labelled on the menu board and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We got the soup of the day, which was tomato soup and came with a freshly made sour dough. We also got the Hummus and roast vegetable sandwich, which was served with a very nice salad garnish and dressing, all of which were moderately priced and delicious. You can sit inside or outside at Apple Tree Cafe but I would definitely recommend outside especially if the weather is hot like it was for us. They also offer a great selection of cakes, again all of which are labeled either vegan or gluten free. The carrot cake was awesome. Overall, well worth a visit.
